Roadway/Yellow merger started?

I was just told by my BA that it was said Roadway and Yellow will combine within 15 months

I wish they'd quit threatening it, and just do it.
I did hear though that the computer systems are on the same platform; that could be a major step.

Now I am glad I didn't take the Roadway linehaul job. I would have been job hunting all over again! Bottom guy.

I'm sure the Brothers and Sisters at Roadway and Yellow can rest easily knowing the international are going to be watching this destruction of the freight industry closely. Now does the article allowing a member from a commonly owned company to start at 90% and reach top rate in one year sound like a lucky guess from the people who negotiated our contract. Good Luck
