[Rule 1]
TeamstersOnline.com is a friendly place. Treat members and "guests" with respect. Posts made to antagonize others or just plain mean-spirited may get you banned from "TeamstersOnline.com". Conduct yourself in an adult manner. Name calling, racial comments and foul language will not be allowed. TeamstersOnline.com wants your participation but we also want our forums to be civil and enjoyable for it's members. Constant troublemakers may be banned at the staffs discretion. Do not call out the Administrators & Moderators on the public forum's, this is considered very serious to do.

[Rule 2]
If you have personal differences with another member here keep your opinions of that person and your differences off the public forums. Posts meant to draw another member into an argument will not be allowed and can get you banned from TeamstersOnline.com.

[Rule 3]
If you are 16 years of age or under, or not a Teamster Member/Union Member/Retired Teamster, Teamster with a withdrawal card, or the spouse of a Teamster, you are not allowed to register at TeamstersOnline.com. You have the ability, as you register, to choose your user name. We advise that you keep the name appropriate. With this user account you agree to never give your password out to another member for your protection and validity reasons. You also agree to never use another member's account to post messages or browse this forum. After you register and log into TeamstersOnline.com forum, you can fill out a detailed profile. It is your responsibility to present appropriate and accurate information. Any information we deem inaccurate or inappropriate can be removed. Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded. TeamstersOnline.com respects the privacy of its members. Your registration information will be considered confidential and your identity will not be revealed unless ordered by a court of law.

Although the Administrators and Moderators of TeamstersOnline.com will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum , it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and the owners of TeamstersOnline.com will not be held responsible for the content of any message. By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, defamatory, abusive, hateful, harassing, threatening, invasive of another person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any laws. Also, the use of profanity will not be tolerated. This may be humorous to you but, legal actions can be taken against you. This Forum uses what is called a “word filter” or “word censor” to keep certain vulgar words from appearing on the forum. Once members know which words are filtered please DO NOT try to circumvent the word filter in order to get your words to by pass this. [Rule 5]
When you want to post information on this site and the information comes from a external source, we would like for you to post a short "quote" of some of the article (no more than 3 paragraphs) the quote may be edited by the staff for length or other rules violation. You must copy and paste the link (URL) to the article in your post. This gives creditability to what you are saying and also shares information with other Teamsters. No links to sites that require a subscription to view the content. If you are the owner of said material, or have the authority to utilize said material and have found that it has been misused on TeamstersOnline.com, please contact the webmaster at [email protected]

[Rule 6]
Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, solicitations, and double post's are considered inappropriate for this forum. If you wish to purchase add space to advertise your product to Teamsters Members on this site please feel free to get in touch with me. I can be contacted through this forums PM system ("Jimmy" is my account name) or by sending me a E-Mail to [email protected] Advertisements that will be accepted are at the sole discretion of the website owner.

[Rule 7]**UPDATED**
Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator or a moderator of this forum immediately. (You must use the "report post" function to accomplish this.) We have the rights to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. This policy goes for member profile information as well. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless this forum, and any related websites to this forum.

TeamstersOnline.com does not allow you to post or enter into any visitor message the last name of anyone. Unless they are a public figure, and the Staff of TeamstersOnline.com has the final say if the person is a public figure or not. What you are allowed to do is use the first name and the last initial. No phone numbers, e-mail addresses, physical addresses are allowed to be posted PERIOD! You can use the "PM" private message system that the site has to exchange this personal information.

[Rule 11]
This Forum uses what is called the "PM" (private message) system. You are free to use it to communicate with other members here. You are not allowed to use it for harassing purposes. "PM" (private message) are to be kept private. You are not allowed to post any "PM" on the forum. If you are being harassed in your PM's please contact one of the Administrators or Moderators and we can take the appropriate actions.

[Rule 13]**Abandoned Rule** The Salty Sea Forum (password protected) is for adult jokes, adult type talk, adult images and you tube type videos. Read the thread is named "Rules in the Salty Sea" You are not allowed to share the password whatsoever! The Salty Sea forum is not to be used to come in and rant about something that has nothing to do with the purpose of this forum. Please keep the contents of The Salty Sea limited to what it was created for. Please don't get off topic and start chatting about things that need to be out on the regular forum for all the members to participate in. Requirements to have privilege's there is to be a member here for no less that 20 days and your post count to be no less than 10. I have started a thread in the Community Lounge with the information on the password here.

[Rule 14]
Any and all debates involving Teamster union politics are to be posted in the Teamster Politics Forum. This includes talk ranging from the International right on down to your locals. Any Teamster union politics posts made in other forums will be either moved or deleted at our discretion. Repeated violations of this rule can lead to your being banned from these forums.
