Don't you wish we could pack all of what those folks you mentioned bring to the table into one candidate? It would be a no brainer without an argument. Wishful thinking on my part for sure. One can dream and hope I suppose?

What frustrates me the most is the ignorance we see in regards to the ideas our left leaning candidates bring. That ghastly word "Socialist" strikes fear into the "base" much the same way "investigation" does to the Russian asset occupying the Whitehouse. They believe anything President Hannity says.

Trump Lashes Out on Twitter Over Firefighters’ Support of Biden

WASHINGTON — President Trump unleashed a barrage of retweets early Wednesday that appeared to counter a notion that Democratic presidential hopeful Joseph R. Biden Jr. has the backing of all the firefighters in the country. The sheer volume of retweets signaled the president’s anxiety about losing union support in the 2020 presidential election to Mr. Biden, who now leads the crowded Democratic pool of candidates.

The*national firefighters’ union endorsed Mr. Biden, the former vice president, on Monday, just days after he*announced his campaign to run*for the Democratic nomination. During his first campaign speech the same day, Mr. Biden positioned himself as the best president for union workers, a group of voters who supported Mr. Trump more than expected in the 2016 election.

“I make no apologies. I am a union man. Period,” Mr. Biden said in his speech.

And now the FACTS...Comcast CEO Brian Roberts earned $32.5 Million in total compensation in 2018,however,an installer at Comcast earns $38,146 dollars, and that includes bonuses and any additional compensation...So Biden is telling us after taking $$$$ from Roberts he's going to support that WORKING CLASS installer...That's BS...He's a POS Corporate Democrat telling you what you want to hear..

Comcast Corporation is especially important to the security state, since the Corporate Media will be working with the intelligence agencies making CERTAIN that MSNBC and CNN will give Biden optimum coverage to ENSURE that he gets the Democratic nomination...Here we go AGAIN...Corporate Media is deploying all the USUAL SCHEMES...They're releasing political polls with FABRICATED DATA indicating Biden is far more popular than any other Democratic candidate...MORE CORPORATE SPIN AND BS...

Fitting that Biden announced his candidacy at a union hall. He may be corporate Joe, but at least he whispers sweet things in my ear. Then he says he's a "union man". Then our current POTUS leader says " dues sucking union" ...

No, I haven't made up my mind. Just stating a fact.

Joe Biden Should Retire the Phrase ‘Dignity of Work’

Although he and Obama were a far better team than what we are dealing with now, I am not convinced. This country needs a radical change. Joe Biden is not that.
Joe Biden’s presidential campaign is less than a week old, but the former vice-president is already positioning himself as the candidate of blue-collar America, with some success. In a move they first signaled weeks ago, the International Association of Firefighters have already endorsed Biden. The candidate packed a Pittsburgh Teamsters hall at his official campaign kickoff on Monday. There, he described himself as a “union man,” and said that the “dignity of work is my measure.” He returned to that refrain again in remarks to Iowa voters on Tuesday. As he delivered a pitch for his health-care proposal — which consists, right now, of the option to buy into Medicare — Biden spoke again of the dignity of work:

Biden: "We can do all that we need to do to make this country grow and restore the dignity of work, all the things we have to do, if we just eliminate unnecessary loopholes. We don’t have to raise any new taxes."
But America’s persistent economic inequities also put Biden in a difficult position. Key moments in his long record of public service undermine his professed commitment to the American worker and raise questions about how exactly he defines the dignity of work — whether he believes dignity rests in work itself, or whether it flows instead from the human beings who perform that work.
Americans don’t need further grandstanding about the purported dignity of work. They need policy reforms that reflect the innate dignity of human life, and Joe Biden isn’t the candidate to deliver them.
Joe Biden Should Retire The Phrase

Don't be fooled: Joe Biden is no friend of unions

This article spells out his union history pretty clearly. I am completely not impressed.

As the industrial working class has faded, its afterimage has become available for appropriation in commerce, in culture and in politics. Such appropriation need not entail commitment to the workers’ movement. Everyone from Levi’s jeans to Donald Trump has made this move – and now, Joe Biden, the would-be candidate of labor.
To be sure, Biden is a nominally pro-union liberal. Like any Democrat, he won’t cross a picket line. He loves to talk in union halls. He’s always saying things like, “There’s an old saying – all men are created equal but then a few became firefighters,” and “The best place for me to be my whole career is surrounded by organized labor. And I know how to say ‘union’.”

The notional blue-collar appeal of Joe from hard-luck Scranton was widely understood to be one of the main reasons that Barack Obama – famously the effete “wine track” candidate – selected him as a running mate. But where does this appeal come from? Biden’s not a scion of wealth, but he grew up in the middle class: his father was a used-car salesman, not a factory worker.

At no point in his career has Biden proven willing to take the slightest political risk on behalf of workers. His appearances in union halls occur when he needs something from labor. On the other hand, when Biden went to vacation in the Hamptons during the 2011 Verizon strike, workers in the area sought him out “just to possibly get a show of support, a thumb’s-up, a head nod, anything” – to no avail. That same year in Wisconsin, labor leaders specifically asked Biden to come to rally their resistance to the brutal, ultimately successful attack by Scott Walker; Biden declined.

We sure don't hear anything from those supporters of his around here. Perhaps the light finally came on for some? It's early in the game and there are some progressives that have much to offer. Time will tell.

While Corporate Joe was whispering sweet things in your ear,was he also smelling your hair and putting his hands on your shoulder...just wondering...I'm afraid you left yourself wide open for that one...no offense, after all,old ''Uncle Joe'' is just an affable,friendly,folksy,touchy-feeley type of everybody's Uncle kind of guy...if you don't believe me,just ask Anita Hill...

Corporate Joe Biden, the would be working man of the people, the would be working man of labor and Unions was re-elected US Senator from the Moneybags Corporate State of Delaware for over 36 years,a period known for the relentless slow DEMISE of Labor Unions...Ponder that for awhile and you realize what a BS ARTIST and Corporate Puppet Uncle Joe really is...

Corporate Media calling Biden the most 'Electable'' candidate is really just code for being the most COOPERATIVE to Wall Street,Corporate, and MIC interests...Biden is arguably much MORE corrupt than Trump...ALL of Biden's wealth is the RESULT of GRAFT,having done NOTHING but accumulate Corporate PAYOFFS during a lifetime as a Professional Corporate Politician...Where as Trump,as a businessman, will screw anyone and will do anything to increase revenues and profits, meanwhile,Biden, will ''SELL OUT'' any constituents and ''BETRAY'' anyone who objects to his authority in order to advance a Corporate agenda...

Here's the deal,if you're Corrupt Corporate Democrats ''CHEAT'' a Real Progressive(sanders)out of the the nomination AGAIN,they will be doing so at their own peril,as was 2016...as it will GUARANTEE the Re-Election of Donald J Trump...and by the way, seeing and reading ALL the comments that I've stated and the links that I've provided concerning Corporate Uncle Joe Biden, maybe you can reciprocate and please provide that ''LONG LIST'' of the GOOD THINGS that Corporate Joe has accomplished in his ''36'' year career as a Corporate SHILL and Corporate WATER BOY for Wall Street, the MIC,and Corporate America...

Trump still has support, much of the public is still angry with the SYSTEM and wants to see it shaken up...This is the Foundation of Trump's appeal...The Democratic Party's constant harping about NON pocketbook issues like Russiagate, which to paycheck to paycheck working class Americans is increasingly unimportant, simply STRENGTHENS Trump's appeal...A huge portion of the public doesn't care who Trump is,so long as he tears down the 'Establishment Temple'...These angry people(voters)will NEVER vote for Corporate Democrats like Joe Biden, who basically,is nothing more than ''Hillary-Lite'',and that includes myself and millions of Progressives...

But as they say....''The Best Laid Plans of Mice and Men''

How terrible!......As they enjoy socialism brought to them by democrats. They can't be reached. That glassy eyed stare from the audience at a Trump rally. Mindless drones.
