    Finally got some news here.

The Teamsters National Automobile Transporters Industry Negotiating Committee (TNATINC) and carhaul employer representatives will reconvene on Thursday, Feb. 25 and Friday, Feb. 26 in Detroit to discuss and exchange proposals for a new national contract.

So this was posted on the IBT yesterday. Not much info at all.

Teamsters: 'Significant Progress' at Carhaul Contract Negotiations
The Teamsters National Automobile Transporters Industry Negotiating Committee (TNATINC) made significant progress with the carhaul employer representatives after two days of contract negotiations that wrapped up today.

“We made significant progress and we plan to meet again in the very near future,” said Kevin Moore, Director of the Teamsters Carhaul Division. “We hope to reach a recommended agreement very soon that addresses the needs of our members.”

Newest update/rumor on contract, Now that Fred Zuckerman has thrown his hat in the ring NO TALKS TILL AFTER THE CONVENTION IN JUNE. WTH is this stuff, we will end up giving the company a full year of contract with no raise or retro pay. This is going to make for a very interesting convention, Hoffa, Moore, Gross good job of pissing down carhaul's leg. "nuff said now onto dinner and relax time everybody stay safe

            Carhaulers: 195 Days is Enough!

The national carhaul contract expired 195 days ago, and Hoffa has not done a thing to win a fair contract. In October – five months ago – carhaulers voted No by 84%. That’s solidarity. That’s Teamster power.
It’s time for carhaulers and local unions to demand that Hoffa and his Carhaul Division, get out of the employers’ back pocket and negotiate an acceptable contract that protects jobs, benefits and has no concessions.

In a record-setting auto economy, even Hoffa should be able to do that!

The Teamsters National Automobile Transporters Industry Negotiating Committee (TNATINC) and the carhaul employer representatives will resume contract negotiations on April 12 in Detroit. The talks will continue on April 13.

The next round of talks comes on the heels of “significant progress” reported during the last round of negotiations in late February.

Well finally some more talks, what I can't understand is WHY it takes a month to 6 weeks before they have any talks???If Hoffa,Hall,Moore,Gross don't realize that they aren't helping the cause by letting this go on and on for so many month's. We won't see any of the increases in pay from Sept1,that's a give back already, might as say we gave up any increases for the first year of contract, probably come back with a signing bonus that won't amount to 1 weeks pay .And they wonder why Teamsters United is getting a bunch of support. "nuff said everybody have a safe Easter

Teamsters, Carhaul Employer Group to Meet April 25 to Resume Negotiations

The Teamsters National Automobile Transporters Industry Negotiating Committee (TNATINC) and the carhaul employer representatives have largely resolved most operational issues but are still negotiating over the hard-fought benefits our members have earned and deserve.

Both sides wrapped up the most recent negotiations on April 12-13. The TNATINC will meet again with the employer group on Monday, April 25 to try to resolve the few but serious economic issues that remain in an effort to complete these long and difficult negotiations.

Teamsters, Carhaul Employer Group Remain Apart on Economic Issues

Despite lengthy and thorough negotiations, Teamsters negotiators and the carhaul employer group remain apart on the most critical economic issues to the members, including pay retroactivity and the appropriate level of wage increases necessary to retain drivers in a long-term agreement.

Because of the major difference between the Teamsters National Automobile Transporters Industry Negotiating Committee (TNATINC) and the employer group, Teamsters Carhaul Division Director Kevin Moore has asked to conduct a fuller investigation and detailed audit of the businesses and performance of these carriers; including any and all logistics operations.

The audit will occur as the parties continue to meet to resolve any and all remaining contractual issues. The Union had hoped to conclude talks this week on a new tentative agreement that would be acceptable to our negotiating committee. However, it is clear that the monetary terms the employers are offering would not be acceptable to the membership. We have been assured by the NMATA employers that during this period all contractual terms and conditions will remain in effect. We advise our membership to continue to work and perform their jobs as in the past while negotiations continue

243 Days and Counting... Carhaulers are Tired of Worthless Leadership
Teamster carhaulers are wondering how anyone who accomplishes nothing for 243 days can keep their job. But IBT Carhaul Directors Kevin Moore and Roy Gross have done just that.
The contract expired at the end of August, and nearly eight months later the Hoffa leadership has done almost nothing. We say “almost” because they did do one thing: they tried to sell a concessionary deal that members rejected by 84% back in October.

This week the IBT issued a statement that they remain far apart from the employers on wages and on retroactivity. Then they announced they demand an audit of the carriers. Apparently it took them all this time to come up with this idea.

This is just something I couldn't even think would happen or has happened in all the time I have been a Teamster. There won't be any reto pay it will be a signing bonus which will amount to about 1 weeks pay or less before being taxed. No threat of a strike since no strike vote was taken, and why wasn't an audit done long before now? Where is Moore out on the left coast tying to keep Hoffa's boy out there out of trouble so he can stay on ballot. News flash Kevin you Local is in Detroit MI. that's in the midwest I can draw you a map to get back if you need. And how are we supposed to talk to the non's and tell them how they should join us just get laughed at. Glad I have only 6 more and hope the pension is still there to draw on no matter in what amount,I can adjust to what ever. Sorry for the rant "nuff said everybody stay safe and enjoy the weekend
