Looks like UPS is hitting all the right notes. Income up, along with revenue. This should be used as a prime example of a company that uses union labor, yet still shows profits, buys good equipment and beats the other non-union competition.

UPS Inc. reported $1.75 billion in net income in the third quarter of 2019, up 15.9% from the same period a year ago, in an earnings statement released Oct. 22.
Earnings per share were $2.01, a 16.2% increase over the same period last year.
Revenue grew 5% to $18.3 billion from $17.44 billion the year before.

UPS said its Supply Chain and Freight unit dropped by 4.5%, to $3.37 billion from $3.53 billion, but operating profit from that segment grew by 1.2%, to $245 million from $242 million a year earlier.
