China destroys $600 million in cash to stop coronavirus spread on infected bank notes

    https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/wor...-cash-21520944

Beijing’s central bank has reportedly implemented new strategy to destroy cash from areas completely overrun by the coronavirus.

That would mean around $600 million has either been destroyed or taken out of circulation due to fears it is too infected with coronavirus.Bank chiefs have also suspended the use of physical cash in high risk provinces.

Seems the Israeli citizens should heed their government warnings. Just like China ...

Israelis who violate coronavirus self-quarantine could face 7-year prison term
Israelis caught violating a mandatory home quarantine for travelers who have recently visited East Asia could face a prison sentence of up to seven years, the Health Ministry warned Thursday.
Those who knowingly violate the quarantine could be sentenced to seven years in prison, while those who do so out of negligence could get a three-year sentence, the ministry said in a statement.
The ministry called on people to report anyone violating their home quarantine via a webpage on the virus.

The common flu virus will infect millions across the globe. It can be easily spread and will especially strike the young and the elderly. But this is not what has been described as the Wuhan virus. The common flu is far deadlier. This is not to downplay the Wuhan coronavirus flu, or to give it its medical name, 2019-nCoV"

I just saw on our local news that we should fear the flu much more. People say the flu vaccine does not work. Well I get one every year because I am asthmatic and I have worked with nothing but very sick people this winter. So far so good.

Over and over again, the military has conducted dangerous biowarfare experiments on Americans
            Kevin Loria Sep 25, 2016, 4:00 PM

On September 20, 1950, a US Navy ship just off the coast of San Francisco used a giant hose to spray a cloud of microbes into the air and into the city's famous fog. The military was testing how a biological weapon attack would affect the 800,000 residents of the city.

The people of San Francisco had no idea.

The Navy continued the tests for seven days, potentially causing at least one death. It was one of the first large-scale biological weapon trials that would be conducted under a "germ warfare testing program" that went on for 20 years, from 1949 to 1969. The goal "was to deter [the use of biological weapons] against the United States and its allies and to retaliate if deterrence failed," the government explained later. "Fundamental to the development of a deterrent strategy was the need for a thorough study and analysis of our vulnerability to overt and covert attack."

            https://www.unz.com/article/was-the-...cal-advantage/

            Just a few more examples...

"Since the 20th century, the West has been and continues to be the most avid users of bioweapons. The United States is the biggest user of biochemical weapons in history, including in Cuba; Iraq, Syria and Iran (by proxy); Serbia, Japan, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, and America has eagerly used them on its own people, apparently more often than we care to admit.
In the 1940s the United States purposely infected thousands of Guatemala, natives with syphilis and gonorrhea, to test these human guinea pigs with antibiotics. Of course, these suffering souls were sexually active for the rest of their lives and unwittingly infected everybody they came in contact with, including spouses.
At Tuskegee, hundreds of American blacks were allowed to carry syphilis from the 1930s to the 1970s, to act as human petri dishes. This was to track the progress of the disease and observe the eventual macabre deaths that this bacteria is wont to inflict on its victims, in its final stages: insanity, nervous disorders, liver and heart disease.
The United States has a long, illustrious history of using bioterrorism around the world. Cuba has been a favorite target and has seen hundreds of thousands of its people infected with Dengue fever as well as its entire swine herd wiped out by swine fever.
T he United States of America holds the exclusive patent on the Ebola virus: US patent number 20120251502, is owned by the American government.

Kinda that we where there just two weeks before it all stared?

"300 US military personnel arrived in Wuhan for the Military World Games on October 19. The first coronavirus case appeared two weeks later, on November 2. Coronavirus incubation period is 14 days.

                          Re: Coronavirus

I'll just post this and let the spin commence on why this occurred. Especially since this thread appears to attack the readiness of other countries, or the possibility that it is a "planned" virus meant to inflict harm on the economy and other nations.

Yes, this is an older article, but it makes you wonder about all those other positions left vacant, or those filled by inexperienced people in this administration.

Top White House official in charge of pandemic response exits as global health security team disbanded
Friday 11 May 2018 - The top White House official responsible for leading the U.S. response in the event of a deadly pandemic has left the administration, and the global health security team that he oversaw has been disbanded under a reorganization by national security adviser John Bolton.
The abrupt departure of Rear Adm. Timothy Ziemer from the National Security Council means no senior administration official is now focused solely on global health security. Ziemer's departure, along with the breakup of his team, comes at a time when many experts say the country is already underprepared for the increasing risks of a pandemic or bioterrorism attack.
Ziemer's last day was Tuesday, the same day a new Ebola outbreak was declared in Congo. He is not being replaced.
"Health security is very fragmented, with many different agencies," said J. Stephen Morrison, senior vice president at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. "It means coordination and direction from the White House is terribly important. "
His exit ( Rear Adm. Timothy Ziemer ) comes against the backdrop of other administration actions that critics say have weakened health security preparedness, including dwindling financing for early preventive action against infectious disease threats abroad.

I don't think the Dots connect on this. Yes the article is almost two years old but overall I don't think it has anything to do with a virus that started in China. Maybe if China has reached out for help earlier it wouldn't be so bad right now. I did read somewhere where it was reported that Trump was pissed when he found out the Americans on the cruise ship were coming back before the 14 day quarantine was completed. That didn't work out to good.. Keeping them in a cruise ship I don't think was the right thing either as I read last night the virus can survive up to nine hours sitting on a surface or a railing. I do think the country is prepared for the virus but what I don't think they are prepared for is a lack of medical supplies that come from China.. This can be blamed on Corporate America for always thinking of their bottom lines. Never realized how many brand names you take for granted that are made in China..

Now if everyone is talking about the virus, and then they talk about the how the United states is left vulnerable due to firing of the entire pandemic response chain of command back in 2018, then the DOTS are connected for those with a deeper insight into the problem.

BTW ... This is a new article.

Trump Has Sabotaged America’s Coronavirus Response
Published 3 February 2020 - For the United States, the answers are especially worrying because the government has intentionally rendered itself incapable. In 2018, the Trump administration fired the government’s entire pandemic response chain of command, including the White House management infrastructure. In numerous phone calls and emails with key agencies across the U.S. government, the only consistent response I encountered was distressed confusion. If the United States still has a clear chain of command for pandemic response, the White House urgently needs to clarify what it is - not just for the public but for the government itself, which largely finds itself in the dark.
And an independent, bipartisan panel formed by the Center for Strategic and International Studies concluded that lack of preparedness was so acute in the Trump administration that the “United States must either pay now and gain protection and security or wait for the next epidemic and pay a much greater price in human and economic costs.”
