Apparently this is not an Indian Casino. Was hoping it was the Yakima Tribe because I used to work for an Indian business here in NM and did much with the Yakima tribe. Good people! But no matter, this is still good news!

YAKIMA -- Casinos aren't built on winners, but according to Maverick Gaming workers, they are run by them.

After a crushing 98 percent vote by labor, Maverick Gaming workers became the first casino workers in Washington State history to join a union Thursday night.

Over 1,700 casino workers will be represented by Teamsters 117 giving them a collective voice over their compensation, health care, retirement security, scheduling, and other working conditions.
The move could be part of something bigger. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Washington State is the third highest unionized and has increased it's percentage of union membership rate since 2014.
