I agree, I'd like to hear what Keegel really thinks about Hoffa. I'd also like to know the real story behind Gegare running and was it just to split the Pope vote and insure a Hoffa victory?

They didn't need to split the pope vote. There is some infighting going on atop the teamsters and some answers would be nice.

"The groundswell of angry Teamsters employed by UPS is too great to ignore. The assumed opinion of outsiders is that members of the Teamsters union are pleased with the leadership they have received (endured) under James P. Hoffa, son of Jimmy Hoffa, and that he is a popular and well-respected president. This could not be further from the truth. Speak with any number of real, hardcore Teamsters from the old-school and you will find that the exact opposite is, in fact, true... Comprising nearly a full one-fifth of the union, UPS is the largest group of Teamster members and they tend to vote as a bloc. Taking into account the amount of time and energy that goes into servicing UPS members, and with respect to the power their votes hold, the top Teamster has made a mistake that this time may cost him his career."

Where is Hoffa? What has he done to organize freight? What happened to his getting to the bottom of his reps on the YRC BOD supposedly not reporting the March offer to buy ABF until mid April? Especially since Wilson was getting paid $250,000 a month to research acquisitions for YRC.

The Hoffa team has violated election rules before, and for a man who has to date never once debated an opponent for the office he holds, nothing can be ruled out. There are times when you recognize an enemy within your own camp; I just cannot believe it has taken this long for others to wake up. Here we have a one-percenter pretending to represent the 99%. A college frat-boy, who attended school with some of the CEO’s we fight. Entrenched in corporate-governed politics
I can't believe it either. Why has it taken so long for most freight Teamsters to realize that Hoffa threw us under the bus way back in 2004?

I still believe that Gegare only ran to split the anti Hoffa vote which gave him the victory

I believe that, unfortunately, you are correct 2631. Take into account Gegare's current silence. He could be all over the place putting out truth to Hostess, YRC, ABF, and UPS, among other things, especially now with the sudden growing interest in member-driven campaigns such as VOTE NO at UPS... Nothing but silence on the Wisconsin front, which brings me to another point: Wisconsin itself. Was it all a ploy? In 2009, Governor Doyle signed AB 172 Governor signs historic labor in the schools bill | Wisconsin Labor History Society essentially requiring of the addition of Labor History and Collective Bargaining to the high school social studies curriculum. Not a bad thing at all on its face, in fact I for one was jubilant. However, what it touched off is what we have witnessed over the years in that state. Was it a setup? It certainly set the stage for Indiana, Michigan, and so on and so forth, and gave rise to Scott Walker and his Koch crowd. Where is Fred today? For that matter, where is Tom Keegel? Why the silence? The members of the Teamsters need the TRUTH to surface, and how. If it remains up to us to put the pieces together, it might go something like this:
