Default Teamsters support new Trade Adjustment Assistance legislation

The Teamsters are supporting a bill to expand the safety net for workers who lose their jobs to foreign trade.

Today U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown of Ohio introduced a bill to expand the Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program so it will help all workers who lose jobs to trade with a foreign country. Some workers haven't gotten the assistance because they lost their job to a country with which the United States does not have a trade deal. Some haven't gotten help because they're service, rather than manufacturing workers.

Brown's bill would change all that. It would include service workers and workers who lose jobs to countries we don't have a trade agreement with.

What happens when ALL manufacturers lose their jobs?
Get rid of safety net needs with tariffs. Then foreigners can't take the jobs in the first place.
A nation is started for the good of its own people. Not afor a few rich people or the world.
Eventually trade and finance will get rid of the Constitution. It will be considered too restrictive to free trade and money. Take away our ability to buy our own homes, raise our families, pay for healthcare and retirement for a bunch of cheap foreign junk. It's criminal.

If we got rid of these trade deals which the businesspeople think their entitled to, we wouldn't need most the rest of the entitlements.
Surely they're freedom and liberty to own the world can't be infringed on by the rest of our freedom to own homes, buy our own food and raise our families without assistance.
