YONKERS - Union workers gathered Friday near a construction site to protest the use of non-union workers in Yonkers.

Teamsters Local 456 rallied in and outside of the water near Water Grant Street to protest against development company Mill Creek. They say the developers hired a non-union concrete company from the Bronx to build an apartment complex.

"In Westchester, we're trying to make a decent living," says Louis Picani, a Teamsters Local 456 member. "Titan Concrete is paying the drivers what they want."
