I am getting to petition needed to opt out of 986 to go to 166 where we might stand a chance. I just got off of the phone with Bashem and told him that our (A flight) steward doesn't give a crap and we never heard or saw anything about a petition to get out of 986. This was supposed to be the fight we needed but according to Bashem, besides B shift not enough people cared to sign per stewards (B shift not included). What do you think brothers, can we get this going and try to fight? If you believe in this help me get some signatures...we need 32 total.

Funny thing about that, is our lovely manager never mentioned a form needed to be completed!! Wonder why?

If you think Local 166 is the best option,I'd call them or stop by them and get the form, or ask about it.

what needs to happen now is we need the Teamster Legal to file an injunction with the courts to stop the turn over and suspend our lay off until the legislators have an opportunity to actually get rid of the DoD. What makes matters worse is it needs to happen inside of the next two weeks !!!
