Another Temasters site has opened it up to anyone that wants to post and its a shame. This site has given the Teamsters a real bad name. Now I myself have been guilty of telling some of these people how I fell about them and not nicely.
Well Phil has insured that we cant post this site in a thread, however I have figured out that you can post this site as a screen name. Not to smart phil!
Your site should be removed before it does anymore harm to the Teamsters union! IMO
Maybe some of the real Teamsters from there will come here and help this site become a better site. Mods keep a lookout for the trash that follows, I was able to post this site so im sure some will follow.

Thanks Red, I saw that thread over there, sent Phil a message asking why the trashtalking about this site.... As much as I participated there over the years I cant believe the downturn the site has taken. Their anything goes style is not working for them. We like to keep it respectful around here and are very glad that members like you appreciate that!! Thanks for your participation and we hope to see you around here more often... Feel free to bring anyone over who you believe can be a positive contributor. But be careful - Phil and VJ could ban you if you werent very discreet. I like Phil, he's from my hometown and the Local that my father retired from, I even briefly worked out of that local many years ago at a cannery... He's a good guy,nothing bad at all to say about him - but the site just has not grown in a positive manner and its very difficult to wade through the crap to find a tidbit of something helpful to the members as a whole... Thanks again!!!

It's real easy to talk a bunch of crap behind a key board. It is much more difficult to get your hands dirty and try to make a difference for our proud union. Teamster Elvis out and proud......

I have never been on any other site. This is a first class site and I don't need to go looking for another. Bad enough that I have to put up with the CB Rambo's on the road, I don't want to put up with KEYBOARD Rambo's on the net!

That's the problem, its too dam easy to be a keyboard cowboy. But as a volunteer organizer I have had this site (in question) brought up to me by people we are attempting to organize. Even UPS freight members during the organizing asked me about it. Its harmful, and while people may say it does not hurt organizing efforts, they are full of crap and probably have not organized.
At least if people would come here they will see that we will and do disagree on many issues, for the most part it is in a respectful debate. A lot of that is because we do not have a smack talk forum for heated arguments to boil over in to real discussions. IMHO
