Default Darrell Issa's Labor Website Infuriates Unions

The GOP will stop at nothing to take union workers rights away!

Upon closer inspection, however, labor activists came to see what they considered a distinct anti-union flavor of the website, ProtectingOurWorkers.com. Pitched as a platform to listen "directly to rank-and-file union workers," the site includes three stories told in workers' own words, and all of the workers are critical of their own unions: the National Education Association (NEA), the United Auto Workers and the Service Employees International Union.

I read the "works" of the proud union folks on that site. I had trouble keeping my dinner down. Is it a common trait for Issa's followers to have their heads completely burried up their arses?

You sure that wasn't an April fools gag? You know what's really frightening? We have members on this board that will totally agree with that website and still consider themselves pro union.

Absolutely. And I personally know teamters who would agree with the website and that is why they refuse to be a part of TOL.

What a bunch of BS. I can't believe some, supposed, union members, being told and thinking, their dues going to political contributions. That is what we have DRIVE for and that is totally voluntary. Unions are having their hands tied tighter and tighter when it comes to supporting politicians. We (unions) have to be so careful as rules and laws are changing against us and we are being constantly monitored.

If people only knew what we have to go through just at the local level. Every penny must be accounted for. The stack of forms that must be submitted is rediculous. That shows me that those "solid" union members giving their testimonials more than likely have never taken the time to get involved with their locals and see what they must deal with. More lies from the right.
