In a case like that, can't you go to another doctor for a second (and rational) opinion

Our company has a company named Work Well located in New Jersey handling all of the FMLA for them. This company has begin sending employees letters telling them their FMLA is terminated and they will be disciplined for using it. Can they do this?

I have FMLA for my back, I have not received a letter but I plan to send it back Return to Sender when I do.

Interesting company your employer has hired. After looking through their site it seems to me they are more about protecting the employer than making sure the employee is getting the help they need.

Check out their site here.

FT, the sad reality nowadays is that employees are not treated as an asset anymore, they are treated as a liability. And they have their team of lawyers and risk management personnel to eliminate the liabilities.

As far as I understand from talking to other employees that Work & Well was been hired to get most of the employees off of FMLA. At least 1/2 of the 500 Teamsters at my work have FMLA for back injuries or other injuries they are being treated for. If you have ever worked in a cold perishable distribution center selecting orders they know you bend over and lift 60-80lbs hundreds of times in a 10-12 hour work day. They expect that you work non-stop until it's break or lunch time every two hours.
