I just had a shipment come in from Indianapolis, my third purchase from this company.
The first came UPS, the second came Fedex and the dummy left the box up side down on my step. It contained oil.
On my next order I complained about the delivery service ( the box even had arrows pointing up ) and asked if UPS could deliver again ... and they said YES, no problem.
Just ask first, is the best advice, for any shipment ordered for delivery.
Funny you should say that because many a company has lost my business because they only offer scab shipping. I do send a complaint every time to explain why I will never do business with them. They have replied stating exactly what you said. Just ask us. My feelings are, why should I need to ask? They should proudly display and suggest the union carriers to begin with.

I have a couple of issues to address here . First of all the downfall of the Post Office has nothing to do with the unions , it has to do with the computer age , everyone now pays their bills online and they send e-mails to communicate , people out there even send birthday and holiday wishes through e-mail . Second I believe this move is Union Busting and it does not surprise me since the postal service signed a contract with Scab-Ex , to deliver their packages , instead of union run U.P.S. , Third I have a problem with them going into Staples (A private non-union company) Because that leads me to believe that Staples will never go out of business , that the Post Office (federal govt.) will always bail them out and they could be worry free and continue to pay low wages and corporate could receive huge bonuses . Fourth and final I believe this is a bad idea and it will hurt union workers at the Post Office .

The amount of business at the present time is minimal to Staples..To them it is more to convenience the customers.. Or another way to draw them into their crappy overpriced never have it in stock stores...
