Would you like to know how they are building Harley Davidson motor bikes faster?

"Though only available for a short time, the machines have already found their way into the world's best known R&D studios - Sony, Fisher-Price, Adidas, Canon, Kodak, NASA, Harley Davidson, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, BMW, Porsche, Ford, DaimlerChrysler, Harvard, MIT and Yale."

Never own a H/D too much money for a toy, but i did own a Kawasaki GPZ 550 and i tell you what i would have love this road back than, no driveways, lots of curves 100+ and not even scrape a peg, and yes i know am off subject.

And by the way either the guy in the video was going too fast or didn't know how to ride, the bike he was riding is a cursing bike not make to go fast on a winding roads, and IMO everyone one that rides should ride the dirt first, learn how to handle a bike thats siding all over the place without dumping it

The "Dragon" in North Carolina is a famous 13 mile stretch of road that attracts all kinds of traffic, bikes, sports cars, etc.
It's a road not to be taking lightly, even with experience.
What you see in the video is a daily happening.
Look up Deal's Gap, you'll find plenty of stories, and the famous "tree of shame" at the local gas fill up.
That road, along with the Blue Ridge Parkway are on every motorcyclists dream ride.

Thanks for the tip fxstc07 just watched some video's of the "Deal's Gap" and "Blue Ridge Parkway" after watching some videos of Deals Gap i don't think 100+ is possible unless the close the road, looks like you could go much faster on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I would also think there would be speed traps all over the place on these roads? they look like it would be a lot of fun to drive or ride weather going fast or just cursing, and if i was to open it up i would drive the road at normal speeds to learn the road first, got to know where that hair pin turn is or your not going to make it. And OMG tractor trailer's on Deal's Gap it should say no trucks over 26 feet i would hate to meet up with one of those on that road.

We have Ortega HWY, used to ride it all the time on the way to Mt. Palomar, used to be a great ride but now it's so crowded with RV's and CHP it's not worth it.

There are great roads on both sides of the country.
The Blue Ridge Parkway, Skyline Drive and Cherohala Skyway all within the same area, provide over 500 miles of scenic bliss. The BRP is 2 lane, no trucks allowed.
Someday I hope to get out west again and do the Cascade loop.
    Before time does me in.

Only been in northern NM once. It was beautiful. However anything I saw though the windshield of a truck, is always better sitting on a bike.
My mind is full of the places I want to see, but my body may never let me do all I want.
    I'll keep trying.

There are so many roads around the actual dragon, less traveled and just as nice.
So much to see and now so little time.

No to be off topic (way off) but I thought you might like something related to Ortega HWY, not necessarily to Harleys San Juan Trail (just off Ortega HWY) it's 12.5 miles down hill of Single Track (narrow trail wide enough for 1 bike), like Ortega I've been down this many times (not lately), I've crashed once on the switchbacks at about 35mph, flew over the handlebars and luckily didn't land on a cactus :yikes:

I'm not in nor did I take the vid don't know who is but it gives an idea of how hard this is even for going down hill.
