Welcome New Brother.. Kroger-Livonia DC was an unfortunate loss but Gen. President James Hoffa and Gov. Jennifer Granholm (D-MI) did everything they could to save the Teamster jobs. I believe Kroger-Delaware, OH DC workers are represented by UFCW but I never like to see anyone lose their job because it made no sense. I lived in Western Michigan for 7 years before moving to Indianapolis. I know Michigan needs jobs more than ever. I currently work in a 3rd Party run Kroger Perishable distribution that employs 500 TEAMSTERS. Quickway Carriers are our brothers here in Indy. They haul our product to stores everyday 24hours a day. They are constantly losing work to US Express. I do not like seeing any UNION job being scabbed out to non-union companies.
