Thanks Bro's, Will keep it up at all cost to protect the members and the contract. Lucky for me I have a pretty desent Supervisor who was wants a USW (United Steel workers) in PA. But I still have to correct his *** every now and then as to what is in the contract. I understand his hands are tied from is uplinks but they cannot violate the contract on my watch, Maybe some none members will see the light of day soon and understand WE ARE THE UNION!!! And united we bargain divided we beg.

I fired one off about 10 days ago for a Weiny violation, still has yet to be heard, but this one is a slam dunk win. If it's no, im filing charges. You can't take stuff from mgmt, not under any circumstances, right is right and wrong is wrong. I'll post results when they get out there.

fmla day they cant touch u on that here is a nice tip if u eved contacted the labor board on them harrasing u about a fmla day that supervisor would get firef guarnteed seen it happen anytime labor board is contacted the company has 2 days of paperwork to fillout i no a friend who had **** for union representation went to labor board best thing ever his boss was ****canned

Most employers r scared to even question fmla days if ur boss gives u problem goto hr first they will let ur boss know that is a a federal law passed by if im not mistaken from best president we ever had bill clinton

gotta be the dumbest supervisor ever giving u a hard time on a fmla day id go right to ur state labor boardguarenteed they ship him out or fire him whatever they do make sure u say bye and wave to be polite lol lol

Had a problem last fall which I believe lead to me not working anymore. My rights were violated as well, even by the shop steward.
It concerned an ongoing DEC investigation of the company, concerning their disposal of toxic waste in concrete they were delivering to customers.
Amazing he, the shop steward, weaseled his way out of suspicion. At last annual safety meeting I attended, on 7/23/2010, he told the company saftey manager that "someone" was going to call DEC.
A few weeks laster, #3 (on our seniority list) told everyone that a DEC investigator was at his home to question him. He showed everyone a business card. I was skeptical, until she showed up at my home the first week of September 2010. That's when I knew it was real and serious.
I agreed to answer her questions under anonymity. Since she never mentioned #3s name, or that she'd already spoken to him, I figured I could trust her.
Than on 10/19/2010 the employer was raided by law officials. #3 started spouting off that the investigator, as he pointed to her, had been to several people's homes. He listed off several names, including mine. How did he know who she'd talked to?
Shortly thereafter, the shop steward, who was #1 on list, made a comment that the company was trying to figure out who turned them in. And he went on to say that management didn't believe " a senior driver" would have done it. I was at the bottom of the list.
On 10/28/2010 a female lawyer for the company shows up. The manager says she wants to ask me questions (not anyone else). I immediately say not without shop steward present (who wasn't there). Management argues with me about it and says I don't need representation, etc. She asks questions, but I avoided answering.
A few minutes later the shop steward pulls into the yard. I immediatley get into an argument with him about it. He knew about it before it happened, but did nothing about it. He even went as far as to tell me I didn't need a rep present while questioned.
Than he tried to tell me that I wasn't the only one being questioned. But, while we were talking she drove away, without questioning anyone else.
After that day, they would call everyone in except me, except a few days. And after the first week of December 2010, I didn't work again at all.
I made complaints to the BA/local-president. But he ignored them.

crm365, you need to document everything; names , dates , places, what occured , etc.
Then get yourself a good attorney, one who specializes in whistleblower protection and labor laws. File for wrongfull termination.
