TDU opinions

Just want to get your opinions and how you arrived at them about TDU. I have no affilliation with them. I just started paying attention to them during the carhaul negotiations. I read alot of bashing of them here and other places. Was wondering what they have done wrong in members eyes. I really can't see anything bad about a watchdog keeping an eye on the IBT and reporting back to members issues they need to be challenged on. Let's be honest, if there was ever an organization that needed to be watched closely, it's the IBT. Please let me know what TDU has done wrong in the past so I can form an intelligent opinion about them. Please give factual examples if you are against them.

Local 138 three TDU officals went to jail for extorting money from compamies to help gut contracts they stole strike money and hurt the pension causing the oldest local on east coast to go belly up costing thousands of jobs.

Interesting. When you say "officials", are these elected officials you refer to. Just how structured is TDU. I just figured it was somebody running a website out of his basement challenging the IBT on issues. Sorry for the sarcasim. Is this something that members pay into or is it strictly an information vehicle.
Sorry Snowflake if this is a touchy subject. Just looking for different points of view. { and possibly stir up some lively debate}

Yes there is quite a cornucopia of info to found on Carey and Paff. Many different interprutations of their history as well.
