It would be cool to have a map of the US with all that are on the line marked or pointed out. Maybe even a needs list for each from people to $ to food to signs to whatever. Networking has never been one of our strong suits and it cost us dearly.

My father walked the line for 24 days in 1994 when the Teamsters held a strike at Roadway Express (at Chicago Heights, IL Terminal - Local 710) to resolve issues of Job Security and the use of Part-Time labor. The strike put Roadway Express $68 million in the red for the quarter and the effects were felt until the next year.

Who can ever forget the "Brown-out" of 1997? Here is a video I found on the UPS Strike of 1997 which lasted 16 days, the Teamsters were victorious.

The fact that I echoed everything in our strike that was in this video and have never seen it, tells me that I have my head screwed on straight and have all along.

Brings back memories as a DHL driver. We had sooooo much freight we couldn't handle it all and was dearly hoping that UPS union members would get their contract that they needed and soon.

Well, so far I've investigated the failures of our strike. From what I can gather and there were many responsible for one outcome but one man did this to us. Just as he's done it to 15 other locals in the council. Comes in at the beginning of the strike, gives a rah-rah and then is never to be seen or heard from again. This man has a history of doing this same thing over and over. Can you guess who it is?
