Default To be a good Teamster is to be involved.

If you want to truly help your union and your fellow union members then get involved in the Union. One of the greatest books you could ever read is the (legal rights of a union steward) This book is great for all members to read, it will teach you the things that all union members should know. Knowledge is power! You can find it on the web. just search the title.

Books and Materials | Teamsters for a Democratic Union

TDu has a list of books worth reading, you do not have to purchase through TDU but could research and than Google or Amazon what you want.

Amazon.com: How Arbitration Works: Elkouri & Elkouri (9780871797902): Frank Elkouri, Edna Asper Elkouri, Marlin M. Volz, Edward P. Goggin: Books

Elkouri/Elkouri is a must read for stewards and or agents to read. These books are costly but worth every penny. Knowledge is power! When you have this book you are able to reference arbitrations at the drop of a hat.
