2 juveniles detained after UPS driver hit by BBs in Gilford, NH
A United Parcel Service employee sustained minor injuries after being shoot with BB pellets while making a routine delivery on Belknap Mountain Road.
The Gilford Police Department responded to an emergency call just before 5 p.m. Wednesday from a UPS driver, identified as Richard Rae of Laconia, who reported being shot at several times by a BB gun. Rae was hit in his right arm and left wrist, with another BB bouncing off his baseball cap, just missing his eye by 1 inch.

Last fall, my son was shot in the eye with a BB gun, it was the one that shoots plastic BB's. A neighborhood kid did it by accident, he was fine after a trip to the ER.
On another note there is a pitiful excuse of a human being at my barn that told me I should have drove my tractor and trailer to the terminal then punched out and drove my personal truck to the ER. The ER was in the same town that I run my P&D route. I drove to the ER and was their about one hour with dispatches permission. I must say I have never been so close to beating the crap out of him right their on the dock when he told me this.
Absolutely! They had many opportunities to come to us long before now. Waiting to see how bad the ABF Teamsters chit themselves at the thought of YRC buying them....They ratify their contract and now...
