with the recent news about ups cutting 22.3 jobs a video came to light, this i believe was around the 97 strike, but could just as well be used today, same bullcrap.

i love the part when sal it talking to the pr guy for ups and the pr guy about chokes on his tongue when sal asks about them not following the contract..

You know what, that was a good little video. But all kidding aside, I really think it's time that we put the damn screws to this ****ty company. If there was ever a time for the Teamsters to stand up and demand the gains that were promised it is right now.

After all, we are going into the holiday season. The peak time of the year for U.P.S.

Why is it, that the International never seems to use important things like timing, and leverage, to achieve victory for the members. Why do the always use the same old strategy, and expect different outcomes in the end?

I don't, nor have not ever worked at U.P.S. What a crap company. From this point on, I will never use there shipping services again. Enough is enough...

its the same every year, file 9.5 grievances up till nov. work like a beaten dog for 2 months, and start filing in jan. again

its funny christmas comes every year, but every year management understaffs and cant figure out why we are not getting done

oh well, work safe and slow, cant work over 12 hours in a day.

im sure in some parts of the country the volume may be down, but up here our volume up 300 pieces a day, may not sound like much, but thats 2 to 3 drivers more on the street from last year.
