I not sure but maybe some one is. I just got my paycheck from 1/10 to 1/16 and I have a reduction of 133.32 to equity wages - union . Someone tell me ? Could it it be a stock warrent deal ? My 10 % goes in to a general fund for what ? I ' ve I talked about this before HBF . Am I Just f^&ked becaused I just talked to my buddy and this week he only payed in 100. 38 . So is this money going into a general fund or is this money for me ? So the more I work the money I pay?

    Please tell me I'm wrong!

HBF not i'm sure you might be retired your wouldn't see this but then again I 'm not union bashing becausing of my 16 years but tell me that my my money is going into a fund for me. Because if I work more overtime than the next guy and my money gets throw into a general fund that everyone gets the same amount as me ?Thats a great deal ? !! Maybe I'm wrong tell me

You people just amaze me . I'd tell you nothing . Good luck to you all.

You all think this is a great deal ? Tell me how ? not paying for my Insuance BS your paying for it now and if im stop sendimg bills after I've made my co pay ! We Are nothing but getting F ed. If Not Tell me how ?? !!!!

Who are the teamsters goimg to orginize with this crap .?? Nobody. They are just trying to keep there head above water. Members First!!

im not postive on this ,but i think they are keeping track of how much money is taken out of each persons check so they know how much of the stock warrent you get. the money goes to a general fund but they know how much each person put in, that is the way i think it is

it sure would be nice if the international would come out with something official, so everyone would know what to expect, and understand exactly what is happaning to them!

You might try asking your local at the next meeting or maybe giving them a call and ask they to explain it to you. I never had a problem calling or going into the payroll department at work and asking them questions about deductions either.

hbf, i went to payroll yesterday, and got a lot of answers, but when i asked about the warrents, he said that he didnt have a clue, and didnt the union explain that to us? i didnt bother to tell him, no they havent. again, sir, is it asking to much to have things in writing, so the guys that are affected, can set down and understand exactly what is going on with them, and there livelyhood?

No sir it is not asking too much.

I found in my many years as a Teamster that you can usually find out what you want to know by following the "chain of command" so to speak.

Just passing along what worked for me. If people want to try it fine and if not it's fine too. I have seen it explained in more than one post here on TeamstersOnline Teamster Forum and it is even explained in this thread but if you won't except these explanations I doubt if any of us will be able to help.

hbf, with all due respect, if you will reread what i posted, i was'nt asking for anyone on here to explain it, i asked why hasnt our union leaders put something out explaning what is going on. again with all due respect to this site, and every one envolved here, this is a great site, and a exelent place for us to come to, share ideas, and debate what is going on with our jobs, and union BUT, with that said, its not the same as something coming from the international, unless of cource its put out and then posted here.

as far as your crack about the explanations on here,.................. that was a cheep shot and ill leave it at that.

i have seen it explained by the rank and file nothing from the IBT. What about our strike price for the shares of the company?we just got a teamster magazine nothing was in that either. Chain of Command why would i follow a chain of command. Last time i checked my obligation to the marine corps is over.

I talked to our BA on Wed. about this, he thought they were suppose to cut our hourly rate not take 10% out of the gross. I haven't heard anything from him yet. So who is going to pay the taxes at the end of the year on this 10% they're taking out ? You know damn well Uncle Sam is going to want his part.
