    Default Surplus of supervisors

With the merging happening now, it seems that there are twice as many managers as are needed. I wonder who will survive? It seems with everything changing over to a Roadway system, that the Roadway team would stay. Personally, there are some Yellow people I wouldn't mind hitting the street. Not sure what is happening around the country, what other terminals are doing. But slicing the management payroll in half should be a good cost savings.

any supervisor that was a good LTL freight manager is gone. Now we have inexperience supervisors trying to prove themselves like a man walking over cracked ice.

It is truly amazing what some supervisors will do I guess to make their "mark". A guy I work with told me that a newer supervisor told him to go to the bathroom on his own time. What country is this?

I always like this quote my brother told me about someone that has less seniority than you. "I have more time in the bathroom, then he has in this company".

I am of the opinion that several of these management team members that are working now may find themselves without a job in the next 60 days or so. They'll use them to try to get everything running smoothly, and then it's cut time. YRC loves minimal operations management, things seem to be running well guys are getting along good, although, I have heard the pricing in the ltl sector has become ultra competitive, one would hope that they might not jump into the pricing wars just to get break even freight, until they know full well what they are going to do with it.
