After reading that, I think back to the MARCH 2006 change, and at (682) Greenville SC,the swithers were aloud to reasign to P&D and the dock after takeing voluntary lay-off .This caused at least 9 men to be put on the streets and most are still waiting to get back to work!We did have a man file on that and Bi state and our local acted like that man did not know what he was talking about. This just shows that the contract is for some people but not for others.

Most all city men at 671 knew what had happened at 682. Your Local should have did what my BA did. He argued that the reassignment language was not for a COO. He even had the man who wrote that language give statements also. Tyson knows what happened at 682 and said that was plain wrong. My steward went to the COO in Dallas, TX to argue this point also. To be blunt we at 671 did not want that to happen to us like at 682.
