    Angry YRC inc. Fueling Trucks

On March 1st, at Carlisle, PA, we began to fuel Yellow trucks at our former Roadway shop. We use a 90 degree angle on the end of our fuel nozzles for Roadway trucks, Yellow trucks use straight ended fuel nozzles. If you use the wrong one you get a fuel bath. The new company (YRC) can't agree on a simple fix to this problem. The LTL Giant can't even fuel their trucks safely? They can't even comprehend that when you have more mechanics, repair more trucks, you need to buy more parts.

here in portland oregon we fortunately have both types of fuel nozzels.most of the yellow teams dont want fuel or servicing cause they do their own at depots. the problem we have is some compatability issues with the equip. for hooking .

Haha, same here, we just converted one of the fuel lanes to a 90 and have the hostlers pul the 835000 trucks in that lane....pita....but we make it work.
What compatibility issues are you having?

Gotta make it work, is there another choice? After the initial camaraderie there seems to be some a bit of underlying tension........anyone else?

Don't sweat it. They have fuel guys and ground clowns who can move them around. I not sure which ones they are myself, the fuelman was talking about it in the shop. If I would guess (and I'm no crack shot) I would say lane 7 for thru loads and lane 6 for BT's. I know he said they had two hoses on each side.
