9 more laid off DEN/890.....less than half of what we had when the yard was only Yellow. Late deliveries and missed pick-ups everyday. We are being set up to fail

You may want to contact the BA and steward where your interested at and see if you can get some preferential treatment over part timers who have no CDL's.....and I'm not sure but if you go through the unemployment office...maybe New Penn gets a go'vt atta boy and they'll help you get the hours......all just thoughts not gaurantees.

Was talking to supervisor Sunday morning and he had heard that Roadway I mean YRC was not interested in service to the customer but had to show a profit. Asked him how do you do that if you don't take of the freight ?

He said that he was told that there are a lot of customers said the would come back to us if we showed a profit. So I guess the customers that we have now don't count. There is much out there waiting for us to show a profit we will be just fine , no sweat !?!

We are down to 10 regular guys at Savannah now. Had 22 at the beginning of March 2009!
