Default Paying part of healthcare now

We just noticed that the company took about 70 bucks out of our checks for our health and welfare. Since we took a cut in contributions it now has exceeded the contribution, What a bummer along with the 15 percent and the non-pension payments.Anyone else seeing this yet?

I can say that due to a redution in contributions that Mich Conference had some changes made to its coverage. IE higher copays and such. What H&W fund you in YRCGUY?

Must be an honest mistake by the company.

More than one way to get the needed funds to pay Deutsch Bank bondholders.

And no there is not a darned thing funny about!

Should something like this be going through the IBT? This is the first I have heard of this going on.

I think it's by the local...We just took a hit on our short-term dissability...It was $100?week...now none..........And there has been a decrease in dental coverage and higher dental copays and percentage pays also...

The thing that gets me is that i highly doubt that the funds for tis stuff has been all used up all the time..I don't keep track but to me it seems highly unlikely that the fund for sshort term disablity should be at 0 or that the dentals are all used up either...just got the letter this wewek..heard rumor of it last week...each local is doing it's own thing it seems..

I believe Local 560 did away with short term disability a few years ago. I think it was only $50.

2631 should know.

Slave what does your contract say about H&W payments?

Law says employer pays for 12 weeks when on FMLA. This should include you.
