yrc driver killed in truck accident
It is with sadness in my heart I post this.
May God be with his family.
X475
Preliminary investigation revealed that Stephen Grogg, 32, of Clarksburg, W.V. was pulling a 2010 Freightliner and Wabash box trailer onto northbound I-65 from the emergency berm. The second driver, operating a semi-tractor trailer and two box trailers for Yellow Freight, was northbound on I-65 in the right lane and struck the rear of the Wabash box trailer.
The collision crushed the cab of the second semi-tractor and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hendricks County Coroner's Office. ...

Re: yrc driver killed in truck accident
Although you warned us about the picture, I was not prepared for that. This poor man. My prayers are with him and his family. May he RIP. As a wife of a driver, this is one of our worst fears.

Re: yrc driver killed in truck accident
Could this have been averted if yrc had been paying into the funds. Would this driver have been retired if his time had been paid in full. Who knows just a thought. GOD BLESS HIM.

Re: yrc driver killed in truck accident
Something else that bothers me is the fact that the rear vehicle, cab smashed beyond recognition, is identified by company (incorrectly I might add) and the lead vehicle in the crash is not identified by company. It sure looks like a CR England outfit in the lead position to me. I wonder why that detail was left out?

Steve Woosley, 60, of Warrensburg, Ill.
That accident, at 4:47 a.m. just south of I-865, killed 60-year-old Steve Woosley, of Warrensburg, Ill.
Police said Woosley’s cab was crushed when his truck slammed into the back of another semi-truck that was pulling off the shoulder and back into traffic.

Re: yrc driver killed in truck accident
Drivers room talk...so take it for what it's worth...the CR England truck was a student and a trainer.
