    Default YRC update from TDU

YRC Asks for Five Year Extension | Teamsters for a Democratic Union

Welch declined to specify anything else the company would request in bargaining, except new language to curb absenteeism. The materials distributed indicate that wage increases may be in the extension deal. -

ibt freight director tyson johnson told local officials to meet with yrc teamsters, and then report to the freight division on whether they should agree to reopen the contract to discuss an extension.

The color scheme on their trucks would clash with his Red "BOZO" hair.. He might look like something out of a Stephen King novel ...

Spinning Jive talk. If anything was learned from the last concessions votes is that it's non-negotiable. Yes, you stay employed. No, you are out of a job. Absenteeism is an easy fix. Long suspensions then terminated. This time there will be a raise for the yes vote but a few tweaks in work rule changes. Have a productive day

After having to travel 60 miles (Colton, Ca.) to get fingerprinted (TSA) at a place that is used to fingerprint & drug test parolee's, having to miss a full days pay with OT, having to waste a 1/3 of a tank of gas and sit in hours of gridlock on the 5/91/10/15 freeways, I'm ready to get in Patrick Kelly's (Patrick D. Kelly Secretary-Treasurer/Executive Officer and Trustee/BA) Irish mug tomorrow and tell him, "Hell %$#*ing NO!!!" On top of all that I'll be getting a warning letter come Mon. for excessive absenteeism for taking the day off to protect my CDL, not only is my nose red it's on fire
