I don't know what to think about any of this. Trust is not a strong feeling since this "merge" happened, questions of why they are running this company like a two bit freight line are foremost on my mind. I do, however, wonder how so many people can try to be hard-nosed about not trying to keep their jobs. I don't like the concessions we've already endured because of lousy management decisions but I, for one, don't know what I'll do without this job. 27 years invested and 62 years old so I can't say "screw it" and be driving for somebody else tomorrow. Did that a lot when I was younger but now? I would like to keep my job and go on what the Teamsters Union was founded...Honest Days Pay For An Honest Days Work.

As much as I dislike the current concessions I probably would have voted for an extension of them..alone. The problem is with all of the extras that were added,YRC said it would save them another $100 million a year. Funny thing is,this all came about right when Q3 earnings came in,they even delayed the release until they got the ok to vote. In those earnings they missed the target EBITDA for the executives to get their equity based incentives,(bonuses by any other name are still bonuses!).I don't have the numbers right in front of me,but I believe the target was $220 million, earnings were $93 million. Another $100 million would put them close to the target for next quarter. Add that to the $50 million estimated interest savings and.. Hmmm.....
Also they told us the lenders required all of this before they would refinance. The only thing I saw that the lenders required was an agreement in place beyond 2015,so that they don't have to worry about a strike, and YRC's ability to pay.

So in other words what your trying to say is there more concerned with lining their own pockets than the health and welfare of YRC and its 26000 employees?say it ain't so joe, that's one among many reasons I voted NO,haven't heard one of top tier managements pukes offer up there bonus as equitable sacrifice and don't expect to either, holding my breath but turning a deep shade of blue.

I think yrc should bring the bankers to one of our fine terminals. And show them our awesome fleet of 14 year old trucks and our rundown terminals that are probably super fund sites. The liability of getting rid of our assets in probably a lot more than they are worth. The trucks are scrap and the terminals grounds are polluted . The banks should realize that if they take over yrc's assets they probably would wish they didn't !
