    Default You have got to be kidding !

    So the latest is now the company wants to take away the 5 unpaid sick days and only give us the 6 . And they say the supplements are gone also . I guess their is a big meeting at Napa, ca. to address this but it looks like they want to get rid of us as fast as they can . Thanks again to all the people that voted Yes to screw us even harder . If this goes through our brothers and sister will be dropping like fly's . I also notice the cartage is increasing in a big way . Any one heard of this yet ? So any body thinking the company was dealing in good faith , think again , they despise us !

    None of our supplements were negotiated. Or were they? They are headed for a major grievance.

    It is at grievance today . The way I hear it those gray area that they didn't really talk about are coming out . You know the 5 tardy's and your gone . We they also want to take away our unpaid sick days . And they claim the supplemental agreements are gone . It looks to me like our crack team of negotiators didn't bother asking about the gray areas and what they were planning on implementing in the new mou .Why can't the membership have a professional negotiator or lawyer on our side looking over this crap . I feel like we pay enough into the union for professional assistance . It just shows me that it isn't about absenteeism at all. it's about getting rid of us because we are old, injured and expensive to maintain, like the equipment . Which is being replaced also ,............. by cartage . So this is what ticks me off so much about the company saying they need our help . To stick a knife in our backs for making sacrifices for past and future years to come . Meanwhile I see the company officers are getting more stock .

    Here is my thought . The teamsters need an educated person who is at least as smart as the company negotiators , other wise we always lose .And when I read this I say "Really " .

    "Our members made their voices heard about the company's initial proposal, and we went back to the company and negotiated significant improvements that will give the members another opportunity to vote on saving this company," Tyson Johnson, director of the Teamsters National Freight Division, said in a statement.

    significant improvements, really . What is this guy thinking ?Does any one see any improvements from what we ever had ?
