Default The IBT urges a "NO" vote...

The IBT urges a "NO" vote on executive compensation raises from the shareholders but IMO this is a wee bit too late... Where were they when the IBT was giving away the house.. Now they are just trying to make themselves look good but they have failed miserably ..

Memo: Teamsters urge 'no' vote on changing YRC execs' pay - Kansas City Business Journal

Leaders of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters are asking YRC shareholders to vote against a number of proposals concerning executive compensation at YRC Worldwide Inc.
The Kansas City Business Journal obtained a letter dated April 4 addressed to YRC shareholders and signed by Ken Hall, general secretary-treasurer of the Teamsters. On behalf of the union, the letter asks shareholders to withhold support for Michael Kneeland, Matthew Doheny and James Hoffman serving on the board's Compensation Committee, to vote against a proposal approving executive compensation and to vote against a proposal that would endorse YRC's amended and restated 2011 incentive and equity award plan.

I'm so glad they took time out of their busy schedule to send the shareholders a letter, well that should pacify the members request to do your job right...NOT,here's a novel idea, lets say you call up the local there, round up some members, grab some signs, like ones that say YRC unfair to Labor, post up at the meeting and maybe hand out some leaflets,we as Teamsters need to put some teeth back in the tiger,so sad are leaders have dentures. It has become obvious that all those above the line are only looking out for themselves and having each others back, good ole boy corporate crowd networking at its finest, much like OTR drivers job hop these guys do as well and never know where they might land next so best not upset anyone's apple cart,we need someone to turn the thing over and kick them around if we have any future as a Union.
