    Default time to test absenteeism rule

    went to doctor Monday morning sick as a dog. doctor said I have the flu and I was to stay home for a week (no shopping, no movies ect) call operation manger to tell him what the doctor said. he said I had on more sick days left, I said I was too sick to talk about it and when I get home I will fax him the doctor excuse. see where it goes from here

    Coming from the western conference we have dealt with this attendance policy for years. Simply put...If you have documented your illness and provided the company with a copy of your doctors instructions, you have done all you can do at this point.

    As always, the companies main concern , .........your welfare . If they wrote letters and had discipline for trucks, they would all be fired ! But as a teamster you can't malfunction .

    I guess he would rather you come in and pass along your sickness.. Maybe you could and touch everything he has to touch..
