Re: ‘socialism doesn’t work’
I do not favor taking things like social security or the welfare and foodstamp stuff and turning it over to privatazation. But all out socialism such as free childcare and stuff are not things I support. Nobody should be elderly or weak and starve.
Now back to my nutty nonsense....
Strange times we live in when we look at history.
I linked the "Who controls America?" thing.
It shows Jewish infiltration of every important thing in our lives. If you look up articles on the internet about European and Spanish history during the Inquisition you will find plenty of stuff stating the problemss caused when the Jewish people did the exact same thing at that time which brought about the Inquisitions and the banning of Jews from certain nations... concerns of treason and usury and such.
Very similar today.
Then we have Francis, the Jesuit Pope.
Protestants, freemason-types and Jews have had serious fears/concerns about Jesuit infiltrations.
Yet today the secular world is even embracing Francis. The media loves him.
Then we have Sanders, the socialist. Historically, Marx and Trotsky came from the same backgrounds as Sanders. So too did George Soros father. All came from Jewish backgrounds and all turned to nonreligious. And turned from their religion. And favor government forming the morals....as a religion. Ben Franklin was the same.
Interesting times.
But it's like people have not studied their history on the dangers of things.
And the media keeps all in the dark.

Re: ‘socialism doesn’t work’
It seems to me we're living a Jew World Order right now.
Similar to Jesus Christ's times. They along with ties to Rome killed him.
Similar to the times in Europe where it eventually led states to use Church, to Inquire, execute, and ban them for the problems they brought. The complications. The legalities, the paperwork, moneygrubbin lying ripoff world. The world of thinking and arguing and punishment for poor and uneducated. It didn't work then It doesn't work now. What happened next? The Catholic religion was blamed. It wasn't the Church. It was the state who ordered the ridding of them. The gentiles cannot maintain their standards. Eventually they rise up and fight back.
After Church was blamed came the call to weaken the Church. Divide the power into 50 million denominations....and keep it splintering.
Then on to Spain...same again. Then onto Germany..A people who did not want the banks. Did not want the communism. They were turned into slaves and fought back.....and history paints them as evil..
We're at a very similar time.
If it's ok to expose the wrongs of Islam.
And it's ok to expose the Church for its "wrongs".
The Jews must join and take their lumps....their hands are not clean,

Re: ‘socialism doesn’t work’
Then the social experiment comes to an end. First the providers leave and the dependants too poor to leave and addicted to the system starve and suffer. Talk about compassion
California's skyrocketing housing costs, taxes prompt exodus of residents
Skyrocketing costs for housing, food and gasoline, along with the area's insufferable gridlock, prompted the four-decade Bay Area resident to seek greener pastures -- 2,000 miles away in Ohio.
"It was a struggle in California," Eaton said. "It was a very difficult place to live. ... It's a vicious circle."

Re: ‘socialism doesn’t work’
Not sure what strappy's story is meant to explain.
Here is the top ten states for outbound, and inbound moves.
Yep ... New Jersey is at the top. No wonder with the leader we have.
I see Kentucky also shows high outbound.
Now my conclusion is people leave for varying reasons.
Congested and crowded areas, weather, cost of living, etc.
No one place is everybody's paradise.

Re: ‘socialism doesn’t work’
Jersey has some really nice areas. We deliver the western part along I-78E and down along the Delaware to Milford. And up into High Bridge and Califon. I don't know about cost...But the homes and woods and hills and farms are very similar to here. Maybe even nicer than here imo.
It's not all Newark and Paterson. South Jersey also has nice wide open spaces and the shore. I think it's a really nice state. I don't know the cost though.

Jersey, like many states has plenty of nice areas. I live in south Jersey. Farms, the shore and the Pinelands National reserve are all within an hours drive.
Your right, not everything is Newark, Camden or other troubled areas. Every state has them too.
Cost of living is high. But everything is here and you pay for that. Taxes are high, especially if you own a mini mansion. Those folks have money, or credit. Either way, live within your means and you can enjoy everything we have to offer. Farm fresh foods all summer. The beaches, fishing and other water sports. Exploring and camping in the forests.
If I really want, I can be in the Adirondacks, any park in Pennsylvania or the great coastal area of the outer banks in a short days drive.
If I want a gun, I can apply for a permit.
Bottom line ... live where you want. I like it here. Well, the wife says I must stay ... I think the 10 grandkids has something to do with that.

Re: ‘socialism doesn’t work’
Socialism IMO has been the driving factor on the reason Great Briton voted out of the European Union .. Having watched the different shows they interviewed many a Brit and many said the same ting.. Taxes going to the EU paying for welfare for other countries.. One woman was quoted as saying the healthcare in England basically sucks but maybe now they will be able to keep those taxes in Great Briton and make the medical better..

With the vote totals similar to our own elections lately, I can't say that what happened is a glaring referendum of the people's voice.
REMAIN: 48.11% (16,141,241 votes)
LEAVE: 51.89% (17,410,742 votes)
