50% plus one is the majority.. From what I heard it was the older{and smarter} people that wanted out.. The millenniums and the X generation wanted to stay.. There is already a petition for a re-vote and in Scotland they are talking about another vote to get out of the British union and rejoin the EU.. Total mess across the pond..

Yes, majority rules. Just like the Obama vote.
As for a total mess, that would be on this side of the pond too.

The corporations and bankers power drive to totally take over the world has been running into some walls.
Good.
Time to put the brakes on, slow down, and rethink where we've been going.

Profits over people is not flying anymore.
Busting unions ain't flying.
Free trade ain't flying.
Big money ruling every aspect of our lives ain't flying.

I'm really happy about Britain's vote.
It gives more leverage for more nations to stand up and say "No, Mr. Rich Man. This is a nation of people and WE will decide our peoples fate. Not a few very wealthy people. Some dual citizens. Some not even citizens.
The argument for capitalism will not work without borders. Borders decide who owns what, and who is responsible for what. There is no ownership of property if there is no border.
