Wasn't sure to post this here or in the "today's democrats" forum as it would fit in both.. AOC once again in the news but this won't be mentioned in the MSM.. But right after the capital riots she was all over social media claiming how scared dhe was and she though she was gonna die and then even blamed Senator Cruz for it.. Now the truth comes out as she wasn't even in the building that was breached..

Socialist Democrat Alexandria Cortez came out as a sexual abuse survivor in an emotional Instagram video on Monday night. Then she berated Republicans and shared her horrific experience in the US Capitol as a mob of Trump supporters stormed her hall and threatened her. She says she was forced to hide in the bathroom in the “near-death experience” and that the terrorists were screaming, “Where is she!?”
Ocasio-Cortez compared Republicans challenging fraud in the 2020 election — something Democrats do regularly when they lose — to sexual abusers.
Rep. Ocasio-Cortez: “Or my favorite this past week, Ted Cruz and now Representatives Chip Roy, and oh, by the way, some of the other representatives who actually encourage people to threaten members of Congress or tweeted out the location of the Speaker, are now telling me to apologize for saying and speaking truth to what happened,” she claimed. “These are the tactics of abusers. Or rather, these are the tactics that abusers use. And so when I see this happen, how I feel and how I felt was not again, I’m not going to let this happen again, I’m not going to let it happen to me again, I’m not going to let it happen to the other people who’ve been victimized by this situation again, and I’m not letting gonna let this happen to our country, ever. I’m not going to let it happen.”
But now it appears she embellished the entire “near-death experience.”

There has been a lot said about who were the rioters at the capital.. Many have said that yes indeed Antifa was there.. I just recieved an email from my congressman that said there was no proof of Antifa and BLM being there and that is why he voted to go ahead with Impeachment #2.. Well slowly the rush to judgement is coming to light as this article states that 20 people connected to Antifa were at the capital on Jan 6th..

We have put together a list of 20 individuals who were at the Capitol on January 6th. We are asking law enforcement to look into these individuals who don’t appear to be Trump supporters. Some appear to be related to Antifa and others are known to be members of Antifa.
We know that the people who entered the Capitol and caused damage on January 6th were not all Trump supporters. Known members of Antifa were inside the Capitol and there was even an Antifa event called for that day at the Capital. We also have presented footage of Antifa handing out weapons at the Capitol.
We looked at hours of video footage and have created a list of some of the most violent individuals at the Capitol and others inciting violence and partaking in activities that Antifa is known for. Many of these individuals appear to be related to Antifa and some have already been identified:

Pelosi delayed the request for the National Guard for an hour. Why was this?
So was this the reason Democrats folded on Saturday when Trump lawyers announced they would bring in Pelosi for questioning?
Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser also refused National Guard protection before January 6th.

In some of the film clips I have seen it almost looked like the police were ushering the rioters into the capital..
6 Capitol Police Officers Suspended, 29 Others Under Probe
Capitol Police leadership has suspended six officers and placed 29 others under investigation amid its review of the events of Jan. 6, a spokesman told CNN on Thursday.
"Acting Chief Yogananda Pittman has directed that any member of her department whose behavior is not in keeping with the Department's Rules of Conduct will face appropriate discipline," spokesman John Stolnis told CNN.
The suspensions are with pay and included an officer taking a selfie with a demonstrator and another who wore a Make America Great Again hat and helped direct people around the building, Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, told CNN.
Video of the events inside the Senate chamber and the Capitol has been circulating on social media for weeks, showing Capitol Police officers causally interacting with the demonstrators.
Capitol Police "has been actively reviewing video and other open source materials of some USCP officers and officials that appear to be in violation of department regulations and policies," Pittman said last month.
Officer Brian Sicknick lost his life shortly after the storming of the Capitol, and President Donald Trump was acquitted of "incitement of insurrection" last Saturday in the Senate.
Earlier this week, Capitol Police Labor Union members cast a vote of no confidence for their leadership, which includes Pittman, who was elevated to acting chief two days after the event.
