Calls for Biden White House to act on border crisis continue to grow
With the White House failing to act on the current border crisis, several GOP lawmakers are now stepping in. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) are set to lead a Senate delegation to the southern border. The two senators announced they will accompany a group of lawmakers at the Rio Grande Valley next week to give them a tour of the border and hold a roundtable with local leaders.
The number of apprehensions at the U.S.-Mexico border is set to hit a record high. Republican leaders have taken aim at Biden’s reluctance to visit the border or acknowledge the growing situation. In the meantime, calls to recognize the crisis are even coming from across the aisle, as Democrats are breaking the White House’s description of the ongoing surge of migrants.
Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) said Monday whatever message the Biden administration sent to migrants was interpreted the wrong way. The West Virginia senator is now one of a few Democrat lawmakers who have called the situation a “crisis,” amid the White House’s continued refusal to use the termThis came as Republicans have consistently insisted the administration is mishandling the rising numbers of migrant arrivals and illegal immigration as a whole.
“The sad part about all this, didn’t have to happen,” McCarthy stated. “This crisis is created by the presidential policies of this new administration. There’s no other way to claim it than a Biden border crisis.”

So the border mess is Trump's fault?
Maybe we shouldn't be surprised. Doesn't everything end up being Trump's fault? The latest from the Biden White House is that they inherited a mess on the U.S.-Mexico border. Again, isn't everything Trump's fault?
The Biden White House reversed Trump's policies, and that's why this mess happened, as Rich Lowry wrote. As numbers predictably surge again, his Homeland Security secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas, has absurdly called out Trump for having "dismantled our nation's immigration system in its entirety."
Speaker Nancy Pelosi chimed in over the weekend, claiming that "what the administration has inherited is a broken system at the border."
To the contrary, Biden has done the breaking. The Trump administration had found ways, entirely in keeping with our laws, to turn away illegal immigrants [sic] during the pandemic and to discourage bogus asylum-seekers by making them wait in Mexico while their claims are adjudicated.
Yes, Biden broke it, and he needs to fix it or at least reverse course on the border.

Exclusive — Sen. Marsha Blackburn: Joe Biden’s Open Borders Policy and Amnesty Talk Attract Illegal Immigration, Human Smuggling, Sex Trafficking
Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) told Breitbart News on Tuesday that President Joe Biden’s “open border policy” and promises of amnesty are an “invitation” for illegal immigration, human smuggling, and sex trafficking operations run by transnational criminal cartels.
“What we are seeing is a true surge at the border,” Blackburn said on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow. “It is a crisis, and this is a crisis of the Biden administration’s making. When President Biden basically said our border is open — you’re not going to be deported, you’re not going to be turned away — people saw that as receiving an engraved invitation to come to the U.S. to get in line and try to get the benefits.”
She continued, “What they’re doing is trying to receive the benefits of U.S. citizenship and the promises of the American Dream without meeting the responsibility and obligations that are required for that.”

Democrats Voting On Two Immigration Bills That Would Flood The Border And Grant Amnesty To Millions
In the midst of a 6.3 percent civilian unemployment rate and the recovery from harsh lockdown restrictions, Democrats are aiming to provide lifelong work permits to more than 5 million migrants in the U.S. illegally.
The House will vote this week on both the Farm Workforce Modernization Act, H.R. 1603, as well as the American Dream and Promise Act, H.R. 6. Both would effectively grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants, with H.R. 6 specifically granting permanent amnesty to an estimated 320,000 people and those under the age of 19.

Biden Tells Migrants 'Don't Come' as Criticism Grows
President Joe Biden urged migrants not to come to the United States on Tuesday, as criticism mounted over a surge in people arriving at the southern border with Mexico -- including thousands of unaccompanied children.
"Yes I can say quite clearly don't come over ... Don't leave your town or city or community," he said in an interview with ABC News, addressing the migrants.
Speaking hours after his head of homeland security defended the administration's imigration policies, Biden also shrugged off claims that his dismantling of former president Donald Trump's tough stance had encouraged the surge, pointing out that there had been similar surges in 2019 and 2020.

“Don’t Come”…now why didn’t Trump think of that? Now wonder why so many people were upset with Trump’s wall… saying all the time that it wasn’t needed and just a waste of money.
Problem solved… nothing more to see here…
