If we are all on the same playing field with Benefits it's just one less reason to go union.

Must have been a job in a closed shop state? Damn shame you didn't have a right to work law in place? You hired on accepting what was offered. Who held the gun to your head? You could have chosen to work elsewhere. Another one of those "freedoms" you enjoy. So you take the job and :P:P:P:P:P about it later?....Rather than work to light a fire under the Rep's ass and work to improve the contract it is better to put it down?
You know the contracts we have today are vastly improved from how they were when originally written. The grievance machinery we enjoy can change language and interpretation when there are grey areas in the contracts. Submitting changes to the rules committee before the contract comes up again for negotiation can reap great rewards. But hey, it is much easier to not get involved and complain about it from the cheap seats.

The top 1 percent don't live above their means !
Or do the top 10 percent !
Wealth inequality in the United States, also known as the "wealth gap", refers to the unequal distribution of assets among residents of the United States. Wealth includes the values of homes, automobiles, personal valuables, businesses, savings, and investments.
The top 10% wealthiest possess 80% of all financial assets.

One a lot of union came into power because they wanted a reduction in working hours, they were working something like 15 hours a day 7 days a week, vacation, personal time and health benefits came sometime later.
As for the highest standard of living i google this and i can't find anywhere where the U.S. is number one (1) usually we are between 5th and 10th. And if you want that once proud Capitalist USA back, work for nothing, have no vacation, no personal time, no time and a half, no health care and you will see factories spout up all over America. for if you know anything about Capitalist it is base off the Monarchy form of government where a certain few hold all the cards and the rest are just peasants, pure Capitalism is just as bad as pure Socialism or Communism never meet a Capitalist that love a Union
