Where there is big money and politics there is corruption, nothin will stop that. The whole system is corrupt and rigged? I don't think so but you will read an article now and a-gain about insider trading and ponzi schemes. They do the crime they do the time. The economy is plugging along despite the Dodd/Frank bill and Obama restrictions dragging it down.

Problem here is that you (Bean) and Strappy are the perfect example why the public school system sucks, nether of you can think for yourself, you say just what the 1% (WSJ, Fox News, or Rush) tell you what to say, Socialism works in those Northern Europe Counties and Bernie is proposing nothing more than what they have, Bernie is not a radical, his proposals are nothing new. Those people have a higher standard of living than we do....how do you explain that???

As for Capitalism, the (big) Government has always work for them, railroads got free land, in which Government troops ran off the native population, Government troops were bought in to settle strikes for the Capitalist Corporations pay for by the people, the Government put high tariffs of imports to protect corporate profits (not to protect jobs) like some will tell you. You see Capitalism is base of "Slavery and Genocide" no more slavery (cheap labor) and no more free land,(look at England and France today no more colonies, no more world power) so your so called Capitalist have moved your jobs to places where labor and land are cheap,( not to mention no labor unions) they don't care about you, get that out of your head, Socialism is about the people, and a "Democratic Socialism" is not about the State taking control of private corporations, let's remember it's Unions (Many would say a "Socialist Organization" especially a capitalist) that got us the 40 hour work week, payed vacations and company pay insurance, the Companies didn't give it to us by their free-will, why you two (Bean an Strappy) belong to a union is beyond me??

We lost a lot of manufacturing to bad trade agreements before the Obama administration. We will continue to lose long after he leaves office. Language in these agreements allows for it. The Obama administration has made billions for the elite. Give credit where credit is due.

Obama kept the train rolling but you can't totally blame it on him.. It started slowly in the eighties and then doubled down with NAFTA under Clinton and the train just kept the speed going during both Bush's and Obama's terms.. I don't like Obama but this is one you can't blame on him other than to say if he would have put a stop to it.. TPP is what Obama is pushing and until it is passed I can't fault him on it "YET"....
