I don't think they are happy in any country.
But then again, if everyone was happy in their home land, why do people immigrate to other countries all the time ?

Had dinner the other day in a Philadelphia Irish restaurant. The waiter was from Dublin. We asked why he left Ireland and he said, "because I can and maybe it's better here" ...
In other words the old saying sometimes fits ... "the grass is always greener on the other side" ... maybe.

You forgot to mention that includes the retired and disabled.

The number of men and women working full time, year-round with earnings increased by 1.2 million and 1.6 million, respectively, between 2013 and 2014. Taken in combination with an increase of about 800,000 in the number of women with earnings, regardless of work experience, and no statistically significant change for their male counterparts, this suggests a shift of workers moving from part-year, part-time work status to full-time, year-round work status.
