Those transcripts are called "Proceedings". Even with no sound, you can get a good understanding of what many of the Hoffa delegates did, to display their loyalty. Not to the 1,300,000 Teamster dues paying members, but to Hoffa. The number of times the text shows

is probably in the hundreds. Absolutely sickening.

The boos weren't because a Teamster was saying negative things about the Union, but because they were not bowing to the almighty Wizard of the Marble Palace.

Some of us complained about Hoffa's turning his back on freight 12 years ago back in 2004. We were ridiculed by some and called anti Teamster for speaking out against Hoffa. Since then he has destroyed the NMFA and abandoned our pension funds. He has surrounded himself with non union advisors and insulated himself from the general membership. Those red vests are nothing more than paid agitators there to disrupt the anti Hoffa movement. It's sad that we saw it coming and only a few would listen back then.

Couldn't have said it better.. May 2004 brings back many memories.. The shame of it was that most didn't see what was happening to our union like we did.. We were called cry babies and get over it..

The NMFA has been totally mastered by the corporate end of the deal......from grievance hearinggs to panel decisions. Its a very frustratinv tbing.
I start to think it should be more usefull as toilet paper.
It needs an overhaul.
The companies bave teams paid to totally interpret and disect it. The uniin has BA's handling way too many contracts that they can possibly handle. The stewars must work full shifts and handle every little thing which the bosses try to get around as if theres enough time in a day for it.
The whole thing needs the refresh button pushed.
