I am disappointed with the Union and the Company on agreeing with the precedure used to move the utility work back to linehaul, without giving all city drivers an opportunity to follow the work with know penalty, like was given the linehaul drivers, when it was first moved in the change of operations.
Forcing the ex road drivers, who are classified as city drivers now, to go back without a choice is wrong, since they had a choice to cross over in the beginning.
Thanks for the welcome. I'll spread the news to what people we have left, if they keep on they will be back to where they were when I started 12 years ago. You know it's really sad to see such a good company being run in the ground by a bunch of DA's. I have no use for YRC at all....
local 179 and on a lay-off, I don't understand how there can be a lay-off with a heck of alot of overtime still... and you ask your ba and get no answers, go figure
I am also in 179 and work in Joliet also. This is the worst managed terminal in the USF system and the worst local in the country. I have no use for YRC.
