Anybody whose land is used should be compensated as the biggest world business people would be compensated. And any damages or cleanups should be held to the highest standards. And an account should be made to cover any cleanups which may be needed. Meaning a huge account should be required...untouchable for the duration of it's existence.

I have been 2 blocks from freight train tracks in different towns in my area my whole life. I absolutely hate the railroads and the time I've spent waiting for them. They surely never paid enough for their right to waste all our lives waiting for them for all our lives for generations .....they should be required to make bridges or tunnels at every intersection with roads.....they shouldn't make money whilst wasting our time.......Costs should be phenomenal for the jobs so they don't infringe on anyone else's time..Time is money..They shouldn't make it wasting mine....sort of off topic.

I too live near the railroad and I know a few times a week during the night they bring one of those oil trains through.. They have to do it at night as during the day they share tracks with the commuter railroad.. I can see pipelines being built only if they are built to the highest standards and just not the highest bidder.. American steel pipe should be mandatory.. Anyone cutting corners should have their right to bid on any future projects..
