You must be referring to the AHCA and the mind numbing length of it. Many didn't read it or even know what was contained. A huge mistake. Seems many of the republicant's found they didn't have an answer for what they cursed for years. Better yet, were the excuses for passing along their version of it. If Trump puts a pen to the republican version, it will be his baby, and we can thank him for it. "There is going to be so much winning!"

Yes . If the Cadillac tax goes forth you can "STILL" thank Obama for it.. It's not too late..There was So much stuff in Obamacare they are still finding out what was in it seven years later.. Like I posted earlier as I do not agree with it but it is the republicans that like it..

Obamacare excise tax would hit New Jersey harder than most states, Christie and his pension/health benefits commission warn


What It Is: Under the Affordable Care Act, a 40 percent excise tax will be imposed on higher-cost individual and family health insurance policies starting in 2018. The tax, which would be imposed on both government and private-sector employers, is currently scheduled to be levied on all individual insurance policies costing $10,200 or more and on family plans costing $27,500 and up. Why It Matters: The “Cadillac Tax” would hit New Jersey hard, with Gov. Chris Christie warning that the state could end up paying $261 million in excise taxes in 2018 and $837 million by 2022 -- projections that presumably include both public- and private-sector plans.

For state and local governments enrolled in the State Health Benefits Plan, whose most popular plans are already close to the 2018 cost threshold, “it is projected that the ACA will increase the State Health Programs’ costs by an additional $58 million in FY2018, rising to $284 million by 2022,” the New Jersey Pension and Health Benefits Study Commission appointed by Christie stated in its interim report in September.

From what I am hearing, the Senate won't move on this bill.
7 years and plenty of complaining, but no real replacement from any of these so called experts.
Have no fear, we were told it will be very easy, and it will be beautiful.

Your almost right,from what I have heard is that the senate will re-work the bill,just how long it takes is not known.. Years?? Maybe but I would have to think it will be before the midterm elections.. But if you listen to the Liberal media and most of the democratic politicians on TV you would think that the bill yesterday meant the end of insurance as we know it.. The sky is falling and its falling very very fast.. All they are doing is trying to scare people ..

The emotional plea for what the people will believe as a right will be over run by the reality of the money needed.

States are likely to leave it to insurers to define pre-existing conditions, but prior to the ACA, pregnancy fell into that category, as well as mental disorders, and alcohol or drug abuse. The Kaiser Family Foundation compiled a list of what insurers called "declinable medical conditions" and risk factors that, prior to the ACA, could mean denial of coverage or higher premiums. Here are some of the conditions identified by individual market insurers in most states:

I think you may be missing my point. Wouldn't this all fall onto the POTUS that promised to repeal it? Change it? Make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside by making it better? Seems all that "winning" President Trump spoke of applies to the insurers and Healthcare companies. More empty promises from the league leader in that category.

Pre-Existing Conditions: Both Sides Are Stretching the Truth

The whole health care issue is a political football being passed back and forth. Remember the famous words of our president. "On day one I will repeal and replace Obamacare" It appears that it isn't as easy as Trump claimed it would be. My gut feeling is they should put partisan politics aside and work together to make improvements to the current ACA.
