YRCW continues to review established contingency plans to prioritize the health and safety of all employees and tomaintain customer service. Infrastructure including duplicate customer service centers and other contingencies allow us to continue customer service support in the event of any emergency response.

    • Currently, we aren’t experiencing service disruptions or delays.
Following are steps YRCW is taking to ensure the health and safety of all employees and to continue servicing ourcustomers. We continue to update this information as the COVID-19 situation evolves.

Weekly email to all YRCW employees to address key information:
    Employee screening per CDC advisories:

    • Screening employees who in the past 14 days have traveled to or been in contact with anyone traveling from China, Iran, South Korea, Italy,

    Re: New Penn press release

I needed today off. I called to ask how the PA Governors mandate to close nonessential business affects us. Was told it's business as usual because we haul essential medical stuff and all kinds of other essential stuff. My thoughts is some of our deliveries may have to wait...schools and stuff....but alot of shelves are cleared and some stuff will be extra busy.

Another New Penn ( YRCW ) press release.

A MESSAGE FROM YRCW CEO DARREN HAWKINS
The impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic are being felt around the world, as we all do our best to stay safe and well. At YRCW, our key focus remains on the health and safety of our employees and the critical needs of our customers. As a freight and logistics provider, we are the lifeblood of North America’s supply chain keeping essential freight and medical supplies moving. We take this responsibility seriously and are focused each day on safely delivering uninterrupted service for our customers.

During this challenging time, we are incredibly grateful for our team at YRCW of over 30,000 employees who safely and diligently continue to serve our customers. We couldn’t do this without them and are proud of their hard work, sacrifices, and dedication to showing up when our customers and our communities need them most. Their health, safety and well-being is vitally important, so as the COVID-19 health crisis continues to evolve, we stay apprised of U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), Health Canada and state leaders’ updates. We have implemented official health and safety guidelines and protocols across our locations and are encouraging everyone to be diligent about handwashing, disinfecting and cleaning work areas and remaining at home with illness or COVID-19 symptoms.

With our national LTL network and 344 locations, we are ready to meet the ever-evolving needs this medical crisis continues to present. We remain dedicated to getting your essential freight to market. To limit disruptions, we encourage you to contact your consignee to make sure they will be there to accept delivery. This helps ensure vital equipment is available for open business locations and prevents incurring additional expense if your delivery can’t be made to a closed location. If you have any questions, please contact your YRCW account representative.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and adjust accordingly. We value your business and will continue doing our best to serve in this challenging climate. Let’s come together during this unprecedented health crisis and take care of each other and our communities.

      Sincerely,
      Darren Hawkins
      CEO
