    Re: Our Dying Republic

    I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then

I sure wish I had not learned so much over the last five years. In retrospect, five short years ago seems almost like Mayberry. Here are some important things that I didn’t know five years ago or now.

    * There actually is a deep state and they really do not honor the election results nor the will of the people.
    * There really appear to be lawless elements within the upper echelons of the FBI, CIA, and NSA who are not accountable for their crimes and are thus above the law.
    * The fourth branch of government, the bureaucracy, really is unaccountable to the "unwashed masses."
    * Many of our top military command, along with many in the Military Industrial Complex, don't always hate wars. There's a lot of money and many promotions to be made during a time of war. The last 4 years saw no new wars and even troops coming home. For some, that is bad for business.
    * 1984 and Animal Farm are no longer works of fiction, but prophecies.
    * George Orwell was righter than Nostradamus.
    * The news media centers of New York City and Washington, DC are not neutral arbitrators of the truth, but uncomfortably resemble TASS and Pravda from the Soviet Union days.
    * The old robber barons like Rockefeller, Carnegie and JP Morgan are starting to look a whole lot better compared to the new Robber Barons like Dorsey, Zuckerberg, and Bezos.
    * The United States Supreme Court would actually refuse to hear a legitimate case because they were scared and frightened of violence.
    * The left insist on conflating and equating evangelical Christians with White supremacists. This should terrify the Christian community.
    * Words such as mom, dad, aunt, uncle, brother and sister are now not words of love and respect; but are considered politically incorrect verbiage in Congress.
    * Censorship, the cancel culture, and becoming a nonperson comes from the left, not the right.
    * The left, not the right, actually is going to try and deny citizens rights afforded to all in the Bill of Rights.
    * Violence from The Left is regarded as free speech and noble, while violence from the right is classified as sedition and felonious by powerful institutions.
    * It really is not Republicans vs. Democrats, but globalists vs. nationalists.
    * The new McCarthyism, blacklists, history re-writers, and re-education camps are coming from the left, not the right.
    * Fences and barriers are a good thing for our nation's capital but somehow a bad thing for our nation's borders.
    * Our Founding Fathers of yesteryear would be called "domestic terrorists" by some today.
    * Presidential elections really can be stolen by corrupting just a handful of precincts in just a handful of states.
    * Calling into question the validity of the 2016 presidential election is patriotic, while calling into question the validity of the 2020 presidential election is treasonous.
The good old days of just five short years ago sure do make us nostalgic for Mayberry. Trouble is, we now must decide, how are we to respond with what we now know. Sigh.

I would venture to say most of us knew 5 yrs ago, we just now know for sure what a cesspool the government and media are, lets also not forget the complicit so called movie stars and sports figures.
What a total shame for the common american citizen.

          Re: Our Dying Republic

Wake up America... this is no longer about right and left... it's about... "We the people" against the establishment!!! Just when will the majority of this country realize that the establishment flourishes by speading hate and fear...

Milking The Capitol Melee For All It's Worth

Not surprisingly, leftists are milking the January 6 Capitol melee for all its worth. There is a simple reason for that: they wish to use it to introduce a new wave of domestic tyranny into America, just as Republicans did after the 9/11 attacks. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if they start referring to the melee as simply 1/6.That’s why they continue to describe the melee as an insurrection, revolution, rebellion, sedition, terrorism, invasion, and a grave attempt to destroy our democratic system and overthrow the government. It’s clear, according to leftists, that the intent of the “invaders” was to take control over the reins of the federal government and make Donald Trump king. I wouldn’t even be surprised if they determine that Russia was behind the “invasion.”Thus, don’t be surprised to see a new version of the USA PATRIOT Act. Anyway, the original one is getting a bit old in the tooth. And don’t be surprised to see a renewed and reinvigorated “war on terrorism,” albeit here in the United States, with increased secret surveillance, suppression of speech, indefinite incarceration, torture, and even perhaps assassination (a power that the Supreme Court has upheld with respect to both foreigners and Americans).

Moreover, don’t be surprised when the leftists use the Capitol melee to justify more anti-gun tyranny. Never mind that the “revolutionaries” never even fired a shot. They could have and, therefore, that’s a good enough reason for leftists to enact some more tyrannical gun control. Americans obviously understand this because they were buying guns in droves before Biden took power. One thing is certain: There will be increasing destruction of liberty in America, owing to the leftist reaction to what the Trumpsters did in the Capitol. The idea is to never let a good crisis or emergency go to waste. What better time to enact tyrannical controls than during crises or emergencies? If they are enacted in ordinary times, people might object to having their liberty destroyed. During crises and emergencies, many people let their fear induce them to trade their liberty for security.

Our American ancestors understood this. That’s why there is no crisis or emergency exception in the original Constitution or the Bill of Rights. Our ancestors understood that crises and emergencies have always been the time-honored way by which people lose their liberties, to their own government.

We are now witnessing, once again, that phenomenon playing out here in the United States. A “crisis” is being used to make Americans afraid, very afraid. And then comes the additional layer of tyranny and oppression, which the afraid people go along with and even support. It’s an old racket, even going back before Hitler and the Reichstag Fire.

                Slowing Killing The American Frog

If you grant credence to the contention that the election was at least manipulated, methodically, toward the end achieved, it is only a small step to seeing the rest of the story unfold. The election was one crucial part of a much larger and longer-term plot. Our coup d’Ă©tat started long ago, certainly well before the 2016 election. It was temporarily stalled by Trump’s unlikely and unanticipated win, but the plotters used his term to chip away at all the things we consider normal in life, bit by bit destabilizing our society and creating a new normal worthy of a Kafka novel.Think of the old saw about killing a frog. If you throw him in a pot of boiling water, he’ll jump right out. But if you put him in cold water and turn on the flame, by the time he figures out what’s happening, it’s too late. By harassing President Trump from the start of his term, Democrats kept him, and us, just enough off balance to keep on moving the pieces into place. A big part of that was forcing us to accept, incrementally, things we knew to be wrong.

We knew to be untrue the Russian and Ukrainian plots Trump supposedly perpetrated. By contrast, we had irrefutable proof that Biden plotted with Ukraine, but our institutions ignored that. We were force-fed a ‘new reality.’ Watching General Flynn, Carter Page and Roger Stone (among others) accused as criminals and destroyed financially added to the unease. None of the accusations were credible. A 5 a.m. raid on Stone with a SWAT team and a TV crew was chilling. Why was it done? To undermine our belief in reality! We had to swallow each indignity. We never knew what or who might be sacrificed next. We thought the Democrat actors in Congress were evil fools but watched in horror as they got away with every outrageous ploy. We will never see indictments for the plotters. We learned not to trust anyone in power. Attorneys General, White House Chiefs of Staff, the FBI, the CIA, and the Justice Department were impotent at best. Without the media’s complicity, none of it could have happened. In my last article, I called it cooperative existentialism -- basically, the concept that if a tree falls in the forest, and journalists agree they won’t see it or talk about it on TV, it can never be proven to have happened. Add in the tech giants and their censorship, and we’ve had the perfect start of a repressive regime where propaganda rules, and reality is what they dictate. The biggest effect of this was to set friend against friend, and family members against one another. Those few who simply paid attention to their own lives, because of the media blackout, missed the whole show. Democrats banked on that happening.

The preparation for ensuring Biden won started with a multi-pronged attack. COVID was an integral part, and I don’t doubt China’s intention was to use it as a means for decreasing the wealth and integrity of as many Western countries as possible. The proof: When the Chinese noticed over a year ago that the virus passed from human to human, the CCP closed all travel inside China from Wuhan, but allowed or sent Wuhan residents to travel worldwide. I would venture to infer intention from that fact. COVID is complicated by the virus almost certainly having been genetically manipulated. The media then amplified its bad effects to keep us scared. This has allowed the government to perpetrate the utter destruction of our foundational small business community, destroying prosperity. Our repressive COVID restrictions make no sense. In an earlier piece, I labeled it Munchausen by (Government) Proxy. Today’s news included a statistical study from Great Britain further exposing the COVID ruse; American Thinker published a joint NFL and CDC study a few days ago that showed no on-field COVID transmission all season.

Antifa’s and BLM’s escalating riots were orchestrated to make us believe we were evil and repressive to minorities — this despite our knowing we have an open, accepting society. Tearing down statues, un-naming buildings, streets, schools, and teams all rip at the structure underpinning our Republic.Under ordinary circumstances, rioting and destruction would be quelled. But strategically placed mayors and DA’s, elected with money from disruptors such as George Soros, ensured that would not happen, as did media complicity. We saw news people standing in front of burning cityscapes, saying the riots were “mostly peaceful.” By not stopping the riots, we conceded that mayhem was the new normal. By letting the rioters free afterward, without charges, good people lost hope.

We’ve had leftist members of Congress and the media maliciously harassing Trump supporters and officials for the last four years. That harassment was equally, if not more, obnoxious than the citizens of our Republic walking into one of our own public buildings, seemingly invited and escorted by police. It was meant to get out of hand, and it did, briefly. As we watch reason disappear, Democrats ratchet up repression and cancel culture. They want everyone to get used to each new normal, then take it a step further. Do it again and again, stretching credulity a bit more each time. The water is gradually boiling and we’re still stuck in the pot.

                    Re: Our Dying Republic

Dan Crenshaw has created a handy-dandy list of conservative principles

On Friday, though, Crenshaw published a Twitter thread (which I’m presenting below as a straight text list) that deserves respect. In it, he simply and clearly articulates principles that are the antithesis of the madness the Biden administration and the rest of the Democrat party crew are imposing on our nation:

                    1. America is worthy of our love and patriotism.

                    2. Victor mentality is better than a victim mentality.

                    3. Free speech is absolute. “Hate speech” is not an objective term.

                    4. It doesn’t matter what kind of gun you restrict, criminals still hurt people. Let us protect ourselves.

                    5. You get to keep wealth you create & pass it to your kids.

                    6. The govt has no right to shut down your business or invade your home without due process, even in pandemics

                    7. Women should not have to compete against men in women’s sports.

                    8. Verifying ID to vote is not racist. It is common sense.

                    9. Borders and national sovereignty are not racist or xenophobic.

                    10. You can’t have freedom without order, order without law, law without morality, morality without religion, or religion without God.

                    11. Innocent until proven guilty - not the other way around.

                    12. Personal responsibility is a virtue.

                    13. Never give into cancel culture (but stay humble and apologize when you’re wrong).

                    14. The founding was 1776, not 1619.

                    15. Stand for the anthem.

                    16. Policy that favors one race over another is not “social justice,” it is racist.

                    17. It’s Latinos, not Latinx.

                    18. Less abortion, more adoption.

                    19. Only women can be pregnant and breastfeed.

                    20. It’s ok to lose in competitive sports, and second place trophies don’t help anyone (but also see # 7).

                    21. More police, not defund the police.

                    22. We don’t tear up the past, we learn from it.

                    23. This list is not exhaustive.

Again, it’s a shame that Crenshaw seems to have missed the fact that these are the principles that Trump, inarticulate though he was, put into play during his four years. Again, it was not Trump who was a break in normalcy; it’s the Democrats who were and still are.

                    https://www.americanthinker.com/blog...rinciples.html
And he's right... this list is not exhaustive because there are still only two sexes... male and female.Just because I woke up this morning and now consider myself a king and wish to be addressed as "Your Majesty" doesn't change the fact that I'm still nothing but a retired Teamster and those who refuse to address me as "Your Majesty" doesn't make them kingaphobic... it makes them realistic.

My home is my castle... therefore I am king of my castle and my wife is the queen but who are we to demand that others recognize and address us as such!!!

Get ready to say goodbye to America as we know it...

Ex-Clinton adviser Naomi Wolf warns US becoming 'totalitarian state before our eyes' under Biden

Author tells 'Tucker Carlson Tonight' Americans must wake up before it is 'too dangerous to fight back'

America is becoming a "totalitarian state before our eyes" under President Biden's leadership, feminist author and former Democratic adviser Naomi Wolf told "Tucker Carlson Tonight" Monday.

Wolf, who served as an adviser on Bill Clinton's reelection campaign in 1996, told host Tucker Carlson that in her view, the United States is swiftly "moving into a coup situation, a police state" as a result of Biden's ongoing coronavirus-related economic shutdowns. Wolf added that she believes the orders are being improperly extended under the "guise of a real medical pandemic."

"That is not a partisan thing," Wolf told Carlson. "That transcends everything that you and I might disagree or agree on. That should bring together left and right to protect our Constitution."

And it goes way beyond than just the lockdowns…

House Democrats demand answers on TV 'misinformation rumor mills'

House Democrats are pressing cable and streaming services over their decisions to host channels that the lawmakers accuse of spreading misinformation and conspiracy theories that lead to “real world harm.”
Reps. Anna Eshoo (Calif.) and Jerry McNerney (Calif.), senior members of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, sent letters to the companies on Monday questioning their “ethical principles” involved in deciding which channels to carry and when to take action against a channel.

“Some purported news outlets have long been misinformation rumor mills and conspiracy theory hotbeds that produce content that leads to real harm,” they wrote. “Misinformation on TV has led to our current polluted information environment that radicalizes individuals to commit seditious acts and rejects public health best practices, among other issues in our public discourse.”

The letter specifically calls out Newsmax, One America Network (OANN) and Fox News.

A Fox News Media spokesperson said the letter "sets a terrible precedent."

                      https://thehill.com/policy/technolog...misinformation
                      Letter...

But yet… not a peep when it comes to airing shows like this… as a matter of fact… taxpayers paid for it to be broadcast to kids…

Man with a giant penis featured on preschool television

You read it right, folks. A man with a giant penis has made his home on Denmark’s primary children’s broadcaster. Called “John Dillermand,” the series has preschoolers flocking to the screen to watch. And we’ve been worried about the impact of little Johnny and little Suzie playing doctor for all these years.

The concept for the series must have taken hours to think up, laden with concern for the behavior and development of the youngest and most impressionable of children... not to mention their safety. It must the old-fashioned definition of “acceptability” that is causing me enormous despair with regards to the notion that three, four, and five-year-olds are sitting on their couches ogling a big dick hanging from a bunch of balloons and laughing. What parent wouldn’t want that for their kids?

What is even more disheartening about this series is that taxpayers paid for it to be broadcast to kids. This is what this particular public broadcaster deemed “a good investment” -- worth taxpayer money.

Suffice it to say, the only way children’s entertainment is ever going to get better is if parents demand it to. We need to start throwing our weight around in the face of these harmful agendas and faulty programming decisions and speak up on behalf of our kids in the form of ratings and dollars. That is the only way broadcasters will listen and our kids will benefit. Our children aren’t old enough to know what’s good for them... what they should want. We are. The onus is on us.

                      https://www.americanthinker.com/blog...elevision.html

Talk about spreading misinformation and downright perverted at that!!!

Wake up people… like Naomi Wolf said… "This is not a partisan thing"!!!

It’s your future… and even more important… your children and grand children’s future!!!

California Bill Would Give $1,000 Fines to Retailers With Separate 'Girls' and 'Boys' Toy Sections

The proposed bill from Assembly Members Evan Low and Cristina Garcia would require stores to have one unisex section for children's products and apparel. Last week, Assembly Members Evan Low (D–Cupertino) and Cristina Garcia (D–Los Angeles) introduced a bill that would require retailers to offer their toys and childcare products in a gender-neutral format. Brick-and-mortar shops would have to display the majority of their products and clothing aimed at children in one undivided, unisex area on the sales floor. They'd also be barred from putting up signage that would indicate whether a product was intended for a boy or girl.

California-based retailers that sell children's products online would also have to have a page on their website that offers these products in a general neutral fashion. The bill would allow retailers to title that section of their website "kids," "unisex," or "gender neutral." "This is an issue of children being able to express themselves without bias," he said.

If passed, stores that did put dresses in a separate girls section could be hit with a $1,000 civil fine. The policy would only apply to retail department stores with over 500 employees.

                            The Left's Campaign Against Self-Defense

Last week, federal prosecutors offered an undisclosed plea deal to two lawyers who firebombed an NYPD van and drove around passing out Molotov cocktails to protesters at a violent May 2020 Black Lives Matter (BLM) protest in Brooklyn. Urooj Rahman, 31, and Colinford Mattis, 32, who was driving the car used in the crime, had been indicted in June for arson, conspiracy, and the use of explosives. They faced life imprisonment.

In the name of “social justice,” politicians and the judiciary in many cities and states are bestowing moral rights on violent left-wing and anarchist groups. District attorney Mike Schmidt, for instance, announced in August that he won’t prosecute most of the 550 people arrested during the 75 days of mayhem in Portland last spring. He said the leniency was an attempt to “create a forum” to express “collective grief, anger, and frustration” at the death of George Floyd and the history of abuses endured by people of color. Worse, he said using the criminal justice system against them would “undermine public safety” for those “demanding to be heard.” Schmidt, his Democrat cohort, and leftist sympathizers in journalism, law, and academia willfully ignore the fact that such misplaced clemency condones and encourages militant groups’ violence, their disrespect for the law, and their anti-American agenda.

In stark contrast, prosecutors are bearing down heavily on gun owners who defended themselves at protests by militant leftist groups like Antifa and BLM. Under threat are the Second Amendment right to bear arms and the legal justification to act in self-defense.

The protests and rioting in over 200 cities by leftist groups in 2020 has led to a skyrocketing of gun sales. This is driven by worries that, in response to the groups’ anarchist demands, Democrat-run municipalities and administrations are reducing funds for policing and law enforcement. The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) estimates that last year, nearly five million Americans purchased a firearm for the first time. It’s noteworthy that the largest increase in sales of any demographic group was among blacks, who accounted for 58% of the sales. There’s even a black gun advocacy group called Black Guns Matter, founded and led by Maj Toure, a rapper and self-styled social activist.

Is it right to kill to protect mere property?

Most of us would agree that a human life is worth more than material goods. There are limits to what we can do to protect our physical possessions. Even the life of a thief is worth more than a hubcap or a lawn ornament. However, as they say, the devil is in the details. Democratic Texas rep. Terry Meza recently introduced a bill, HB 196, that would restrict the existing Castle Doctrine, which recognizes the right of people to defend their homes against intruders. Her defense of this restriction seems, at first glance to a casual reader, moderate and reasonable. Here is what she says (italics are mine):

My bill HB 196 and my position on the Texas Castle Doctrine has been misrepresented in the news as of late. It does not repeal the Castle Doctrine, and it does not restrict homeowners from using firearms in self-defense as applicable to current Texas stand your ground laws. What my bill would do if passed, would require a homeowner to exhaust the potential of safely retreating into their habitation before using deadly force in defense of themselves or their property. I filed this bill because the castle doctrine as it currently exists emboldens people to take justice into their own hands. While theft is obviously wrong, we have laws to address that. I don't believe that stealing someone's lawn ornament should be an offense punishable by death.
Meza was defending herself against false allegations that she had said some absurd things, such as that the home invader probably needs the items more than the homeowner does. There is no record of her having said anything like that. Many people believed that false allegation, which appeared as a satirical joke. Given the era in which Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has actually said absurd things such as that people who do not wish to work should still receive federal welfare handouts, it is understandable that it can be difficult to distinguish between reality and satire.

One wonders, however — what major social problem was Meza trying to remedy with HB 196? Has there been a problem with homeowners not retreating from home invaders? If so, who exactly was complaining about such things?

Did Meza consult with the victims of previous home invasions? Did she ask them what is it like to be in your sanctuary when, unexpectedly, you are confronted by an intruder? Was there time to retreat? Was there time to consider all the possible avenues of retreat? Was there time to exhaust them? How could you be sure whether the intruder was armed? Did you feel assured that the intruder was not going to rape or kill you or your loved ones? Do you think that the law should burden you with all these dangerous duties in order to safeguard the criminal?

My suspicion is that Terry Meza, were she ever to similarly face the reality of having to make split-second decisions of life and death, and if she had a weapon at hand, be it a gun or something else — were she the potential victim, would she hesitate one second to employ deadly force, if in that moment, it seemed necessary? Or would she go down the list of duties and considerations she is attempting to enjoin on Texas residents?

For her sake, and those of her family, I hope not. Leftist legislators live in a world of theory and ideology and fail to make the distinction between those and the realities that the rest of us are stuck with. My strong suspicion is that HB 196 will not be the end of it. Now that felons are being given the right to vote, perhaps Meza is one of those forward-looking politicians who see a category of future voters who will demand that she pass even more aggressive laws to protect criminals. What further protections for home invaders will be forthcoming from the left?

This bill should be shot dead at the doorway.
