On a sidenote...Myself would have expected conflict with the police by entering the Capital illegally especially with government business going on that day.
So it wasn't to bright to enter.
But as stories unfold we see that DC insiders were involved in setting up the illegal activities.....will they be held accountable for these people's lives?

Pelosi rejects Trump allies from Jan. 6 panel, casting doubt on its impartiality

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has blocked high-profile Republican Reps. Jim Jordan and Jim Banks from a special committee to investigate the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, drawing outrage from critics who say Pelosi has proved the probe is a partisan “charade.”Pelosi’s announcement Wednesday followed House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy naming five Republicans whom he wanted to serve on the committee, despite intra-party disagreement on whether to participate.McCarthy (R-Calif.) responded to Pelosi’s political move by threatening to yank other Republicans from the panel and forge forward with “our own investigation” of the riot that disrupted certification of President Biden’s victory.“This represents an egregious abuse of power and will irreparably damage this institution.

Denying the voices of members who have served in the military and law enforcement, as well as leaders of standing committees, has made it undeniable that this panel has lost all legitimacy and credibility and shows the speaker is more interested in playing politics than seeking the truth,” McCarthy said moments after Pelosi set off the latest partisan clash on Capitol Hill. “Unless Speaker Pelosi reverses course and seats all five Republican nominees, Republicans will not be party to their sham process and will instead pursue our own investigation of the facts.” Rep. Mark Green (R-Tenn.) colorfully commented: “Pelosi is a dictator. She celebrated Texas Dems’ refusal to debate and vote the foundation of democracy — and now she rejects the Republican representation on a committee. Nice week, Queen Pelosi.”

Pelosi (D-Calif.) did not say why Jordan (R-Ohio) and Banks (R-Ind.) are being booted, but the pair of conservatives were expected to defend former President Donald Trump and try to flip the script on Democrats, who they claim hypocritically overlooked rioting last year that took place during anti-police brutality protests.Republicans say they believe Pelosi and Democrats intend to use the committee to bash them ahead of the 2022 midterm elections. In a statement, Pelosi said, “The unprecedented nature of January 6th demands this unprecedented decision.” Pelosi said, “With respect for the integrity of the investigation, with an insistence on the truth and with concern about statements made and actions taken by these Members, I must reject the recommendations of Representatives Banks and Jordan to the Select Committee.”

Banks is chairman of the conservative Republican Study Committee and recently met with Trump at his Bedminster, NJ, golf club. Jordan, the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, frequently draws headlines by grilling witnesses at congressional hearings. Jordan tweeted, “Speaker Pelosi just admitted the obvious, that the January 6th Select Committee is nothing more than a partisan political charade.” Pelosi said she told McCarthy she was concerned about “the impact their appointments may have on the integrity of the investigation. “ Pelosi accepted three other Republican panelists recommended by McCarthy — relatively low-profile Reps. Rodney Davis (R-Ill.), Kelly Armstrong (R-ND) and Troy Nehls (R-Texas). Another Republican, Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming, accepted an earlier invitation by Pelosi to join the committee, outraging fellow Republicans who said she should not have accepted the gig from the Democratic leader. Notably, voting to reject Biden electors from Arizona and Pennsylvania was not Pelosi’s justification to boot Jordan and Banks, as Nehls also voted for the objections, which were premised on Republicans’ claims that courts erred in absentee balloting and voter registration decisions before the vote.

Under the terms of the select committee, which passed largely along party lines in June after a bill to create a bipartisan commission was blocked in the Senate, Pelosi is able to veto McCarthy’s picks. Rep. Guy Reschenthaler (R-Pa.) told The Post: “Pelosi rejecting Kevin McCarthy’s good faith selection of members proves this is a political exercise — partisan to the core. If Pelosi really wants to get to the truth, why fear Jim Jordan and Jim Banks? Clearly those two members will undercut her anti-Trump, anti-conservative heading into the midterms.” Rep. Lance Gooden (R-Texas) added, “Nancy Pelosi and her cronies fear any members that will ask tough questions she doesn’t want answered. I didn’t think this sham process could be any more of a sham but she has proved me wrong.”

Like the critics said... just another partisan “charade.”!!!

According to that poll... that makes around 34% of the population who are living in a false sense of reality. Ironically... that's around the same percentage of Americans that remained loyal to Great Britain and opposed the American Revolution. Imagine that... we always had people living among us who hated our country... even from the beginning and it's only going to get worse as time goes on now that the America haters have controlling influence over our government... media and learning instutions.

Like the saying goes... “You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.”

After all... "Any fool can make a rule, and any fool will mind it" - Henry David Thoreau

A lot has been publicized about the Capital hearings on what exactly happened on January 6th.. But it does seem to be setting up a one sided view of it.. IMO it is Pelozi that only wants the people to know her version.. What is she hiding??

Pelosi Shuts Capitol Police Union Out of January 6th Committee

The head of the United States Capitol Police union Gus Papathanasiou on Wednesday urged House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to allow more officers to testify to the select committee investigating the events of January 6th, arguing the problems that day were actually “years” in the making — which could reflect poorly on her leadership as House speaker.

“Poor morale, inequitable pay and conditions, and a leadership that refuses to engage – these are contributing factors to the events of January 6th and they remain factors still, today,” he said in a statement. “The Union asks that the Committee listen to the active-duty police officers who have been chosen by the rank and file to represent them.”

However, according to Republican Study Committee Chairman Jim Banks (R-IN), Papathansiou’s and other officers’ voices are being shut out because it does not advance Pelosi’s narrative of a violent insurrection overwhelming heroic police. Banks said in a statement on Wednesday:

At yesterday’s January 6th Select Committee hearing, we only heard Pelosi’s cherry-picked version of events because she shut out any voices that didn’t further her partisan narrative.

One of the voices Democrats rejected was the head of the Capitol Police union, Gus Papathanasiou, who is elected by rank-and-file officers to represent their views. Around 90% of USCP officers belong to the union.

Banks told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview last week that he asked the committee’s Chairman Bennie Thompson if Papathanasiou could testify, but his request was ignored.

The committee is composed of seven Democrats and two Never Trump Republicans, all hand-picked by Pelosi. Republican Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) had selected Banks and five other Republicans to sit on the committee but pulled them after Pelosi rejected Banks and Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Jim Jordan (OH). Republicans are planning to conduct their own investigation.

In the committee’s first hearing on Tuesday, four police officers — two Capitol Police officers and two Metropolitan Police Department officers — delivered emotional testimony on working at the Capitol on January 6th. All blamed Republicans or former President Donald Trump for the violence and accused Republicans of downplaying it.

Papathanasiou called their testimony a “crucial start” to understanding the effects of that day on Capitol Police officers but said the union “stands ready” to provide the committee with fuller context of what went wrong — which could potentially include scrutiny of her leadership of the House since 2018.

“The police response to January 6th represents a disastrous collapse of leadership that was not simply an aberration confined to that one day. It was months and years in the making,” he said in a statement.

“To fully understand why our officers felt so abandoned, requires an understanding of how they came to be left uninformed and lacking in defenses when it mattered most – when an attack on the U.S. Capitol was being fully realized,” he said, adding:

Most importantly, we arrived at that position of vulnerability because the voices of the rank-and-file-officers had been ignored for years. There was no collaboration from Capitol Police leaders with the frontline officers, instead it was a top-down approach that left a void of information and planning. As an officer working that day, I can attest, there was NO plan, and certainly no contingency plans by the Chiefs.

That lack of leadership had tragic consequences. The riots led to the deaths of officers, and injuries to an estimated 140 Capitol Police and MPD officers, some of whom will never return to service.

Republicans on Tuesday argued that Pelosi bears responsibility as speaker of the House for not protecting the Capitol on January 6th.

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) tweeted, “Nancy Pelosi bears responsibility as Speaker of the House for the tragedy that occurred on January 6th.”:

                https://twitter.com/i/status/1420010339090018308

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) also questioned why the Capitol was left vulnerable in a tweet:

                https://twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1nAJELrwpkOGL

“Why was the Capitol left so vulnerable that day? Why wasn’t the National Guard here? Why didn’t we have a better security posture? What changes are needed to make sure it never happens again?” he asked.

“On January 6, these brave officers were put into a vulnerable and impossible position because the leadership at the top has failed,” he said at a press conference before the hearing, which featured only lawmakers hand-picked by Pelosi.

Papathansiou said the Capitol would remain vulnerable unless the committee hears from the “broader rank-and-file.”

“As individual officers testified today, they did their best and succeeded in their mission to protect all members of Congress and their staff that day,” he said.

“The Committee needs all the facts to understand why the U.S. Capitol was so vulnerable, and why it will remain vulnerable if the broader rank-and-file officers are not heard,” he said.

Worst Attack Since Civil War?… Newly Released US Capitol Surveillance Video Shows Jan. 6 Protest Inside Capitol Was More of an Open House than Insurrection

In April during his speech to a Joint Session of Congress, Joe Biden described January 6th as the “worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.

As I stand here tonight, we are just one day shy of the 100th day of my administration.
100 days since I took the oath of office—lifted my hand off our family Bible—and inherited a nation in crisis. The worst pandemic in a century. The worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. The worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.

This line was parroted by leftwing media hacks, Democrat lawmakers, and Liz Cheney.

On Tuesday the Biden administration released five Capitol surveillance videos from the US Capitol on January 6th following a court ruling.

You can tell from the videos that the so-called “insurrection” and “worst attack since the Civil War” looked more like an Open House.
