I can go along with this as long as it is non partisan which we all know will never happen.. But if it does I would like the house republicans to call Nancy Pelozi and Chuck Schumer as their first two witnesses.. That alone could make any commission very entertaining..

House Approves Jan. 6 Commission; Senate Passage in Doubt

House Democrats, with the support of 35 Republicans, passed a resolution Wednesday to form a Jan. 6 Commission to investigate the event of Jan. 6 – a measure likely to face Republican opposition the Senate.

It passed 252-175, with only Republican opposition, which should be expected to come in the Senate, where Democrats will need to flip at least 10 Republican "yes" to officially form the panel.

The measure would create a 10-member commission — with five members appointed by each party — to investigate the storming of the Capitol in protest of the certification of the Electoral College victory for President Joe Biden.

The 35 House Republicans siding with Democrats are going to face a significant blowback from former President Donald Trump, who has vowed primary challenges to those who do not support his leadership in the GOP.

"I encourage all members, Republicans and Democrats alike, to put down their swords for once, just for once, and support this bill," Homeland Security Committee Ranking Member John Katko, R-N.Y., said.

Katko helped structure the commission's makeup and rules with committee chair Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss.

Republican leaders including House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., rebuked the proposal of a Jan. 6 Commission because it would deal with just one side of political violence, ignoring the damage down by left-wing protests through last summer, burning down cities in the name of social justice.

Non partisan,that is a hoot.A investigation of what exactly ??? They have spent 5 months investigating every person that was in Washington DC that day.These clowns in charge are not capable of anything in a timely manner.

They have only investigated the Trump supporters. Yes some of them are guilty as it seems but there is a whole lot more to the story..Remember when they impeached Trump the second time and as soon as they said there would be witnesses called and some republicans called for Pelosi to be their first witness ?? Then all of a sudden there was no need to have witnesses?? And why is it that many of the Trump supporters are being held without bail?? There are many questions to be answered..Highly doubt we will ever get the answers though.

I would have to wager that they spent a whole lot more on the fake Russian collusion crap then they did on Benghazi scandal.. And yes Benghazi should have been investigated because the Obama/Biden administration lied about it because it was two months before an election.. people died who shouldn't have died because our government didn't have their back..

In his 2008 run for the White House, President Barack Obama promised to shut down the prison for suspected terrorists in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and on his second full day as president he issued an executive order to close it within a year. Eight years later, that has not happened

Senator Ron Johnson joined Mark Levin on Sunday night on Life, Liberty and Levin on FOX News.

Senator Johnson was invited on to discuss the unconstitutional imprisonment of Jan. 6 protesters in Washington DC.

Senator Johnson says one-third of the protesters who entered the US Capitol at the West Terrace doorway were waved in by Capitol Police.

Senator Ron Johnson: We counted up to 309 individuals entering that door. Five police officers met them. There was no violence that we could tell. That is how about 38% of the 800 people entered the Capitol.

On Thursday Ron Johnson sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland on the ongoing investigation of the hundreds of Americans rounded up by the FBI and DOJ.

Johnson then went on to attack those who banned hydroxychloroquine and were responsible for killing tens of thousands of Americans.
